We had a letter from parliament saying she had requested details from the jobcentre he attends. She then said she would get back to us. Its just so wrong what they have said and their reasons for saying it. I will fight it all the way. He "needs" to work. He really does.Marshallka was meant to ask just now, have your son heard anymore from your MP yet?
Good luck and fingers crossed for him.;)X0 -
Hi Marshallka, How are you and yours doing? Any news on your sisters results? Sorry lots of questions hope your son is Ok and he gets a job soon cant bear to think of a useful young man being unemployed.
Love x0 -
Hi donotpassgo, hope you are well too. My sis has been poorly again this weekend. She has been the docs though today and they have no record of the biopsies yet but have given her some meds. She is still losing weight and goes to hematology on 22nd. Just hope they can sort her out cause its horrible for her to be in so much pain.donotpassgo wrote: »Hi Marshallka, How are you and yours doing? Any news on your sisters results? My daughter has had her results back and her ferritin is up a bit but her hemaglobin has only just got into the very limit for normal so having to wait until our doc is in either tomorrow or next day for what we should do as regards the iron. Still not heard from the hospital for her tests there though but she is doing fine otherwise.
Thanks for asking donotpassgo.;)0 -

Its all hospitals and appointments isn't it?
Dad was not good this morning but this is because they are upping and downing his meds again, and mainly because of his breathing difficulties, he was asking mum about one of his good old mates Colin who he was great friends with from the 50's and 60's, he was getting upset thinking something had happened to him, mum reassured him, even though dad and his friend not seen each other for a few years, as he went away to live.
My youngest sister who had Breast Cancer a few years ago had her yearly checkup mammogram and her results are still good, mum also in remission is due for her yearly check up tomorrow and will have her results next week. Hopefully a good result as well.
Dad also in remission from Prostate cancer is also due for his check up soon as well.
Good thing they check regular though.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

No worries Marshallka we are all well thank you. I wonder whats causing your sisters weight loss! I hope she gets sorted out especially with the pain, that is so debilitating. Glad your daughter is doing fine sounds like hopefully she is moving in the right direction. Waiting for results is so infuriating :mad:0 -
Good news. My son has had a letter today for a visit to the Future Jobs Fund in our area. Looks like contacting your MP actually works.:j I know this is not guaranteed but they at least should be able to offer something. We live an unemployment hot spot.
The Fund aims to create 150,000 jobs. These will be aimed primarily at 18-24 year olds who have been out of work for a year. The idea is that from 2010 everyone in this age group who has been looking for work for a year will get an offer of a job or training lasting at least 6 months. Bids are encouraged across all areas across Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales). DWP will also specifically target 50,000 jobs in unemployment hotspots and anticipate that around 10,000 of the 150,000 jobs created will be 'green' jobs.0 -
Just had a call from our docs and my daughter has got to carry on her meds for now as she has only "sightly" risen since taking them so still slightly anaemic as yet. They are not bothering her though at all with side effects and she is great at remembering them so hopefully hematology should work out why she is anaemic. Still not heard of another appointment though since we went at Christmas. Should be soon hopefully.0
