Wow, and it was all said tongue in cheek. By the way, I had to read it to see what it was about. You better go elsewhere with your useless intelligence.

It's better to keep your mouth shut and give the impression that you're foolish than to open it and remove all doubt.

I suggest you partake in a new hobby for entertainment, rather than have the audacity to use my friends misfortunes to amuse yourself.

What a pity its lung and not a heart transplant I need, I’d be first in the queue for your heart……:confused::confused:

What a shame di, :(:(I’m absolutely gutted to hear your sad news, you must be so frustrated.

Can you request a detailed report of the care plan they have designed for your dad (Incl duties, times, costs etc) Also ask them for an information pack for the Direct Payments Scheme for personal care.

They can suggest a night care plan, however they are not entitled to dictate to your mum how she spends the funds allocated for your dad’s care allowance. :naughty::naughty::confused::confused:

    Hi Gerry hunni
    Hope your well.:A

    Thank you.;)

I am seeing dad today and going to have a word with the staff just to find out a little more, meanings I did not got to the meeting yesterday.

I just need to know more.

For the night times apparantely they said us the children could take in turns as there are 8 of us, the problem is here, yes there are 8 of us, but not 8 are available, my older brother works perm nights, my other brother is autistic, the 2 sisters live away, the one disabled waiting for ops, the other 2 work where one of these have 2 jobs, and I am a carer full time for my son who has needs.
None of us mind helping as families do but to be honest we have already been doing it for the past 20 years of even longer and have our own kids to tend to.

I do think where they offered 2 carers to work together 4 times a day is excellent and more than what many others have, they already have the life line as well for emergencies, but don't think mum wants it all happening in her home.

I am not too sure on how it works if dad does end up in a home to be honest, as mum and dad own their 4 bed home, where my sister who loves away owns a quarter of it as well, so a lot to take in.

But like I said, being as we are a big family we help all we can when we can, which is at the moment 80% of our time is already taken up helping out, she will not get a taxi or public transport to see dad, and we all take in turns (apart from the ones who live away) mainly left to 3 of us, but we have said long term something will have to be sorted out to be fair.

Thank you for your advice hunni your a star.:kisses3:

    Hi hun
    Hope your well.:A
    How is your daughter feeling?

I was messing with the pics last night, did at first have one with me and my sisters on there, but thought oops........, if they come across this, as sometimes they do visit the site, they may not like it me adding that pic without asking them first lol,, I see their point though, even though they are on my FB.......:D.

I have kept dad's as well, but everyime I was on here seeing dad's pic, especially since the latest news yesterday of him not coming home, I was getting upset.

Hey poor Charlies Angels lmao :rotfl::rotfl::D;)
