    Hi All

Thank you so much for all your kind words. My daughter contacted the police yesterday and they asked for her e mail address so that they could send a form to her, she then had to fill it in and send it back to them, they would then make an appointment to come round to see her.

She is doing OK but has lost a lot of her confidence, she was seeing a therapist cause she was having panic attacks anyway. Nothing major but going back to being bullied at school when she was early teenage. She got a bit chubby and you know what kids are like. It was only puppy fat and soon disappeared when she got to 13.

She would not hand her purse over at first and got into a bit of push and shove with things then one of the boys got a pen knife out so she let him have her purse. She was so upset cause she had about 57.00 in there that she had saved for buying Xmas presents etc. This has just knocked her back a bit.

Anyway I am making her come out with me today to do some Food shopping at TESCO I hate shopping and get really grumpy especially at christmas with all the crowds. Anyway she is really good at calming me down and we end up having a giggle.

The supposed friends have not even contacted her. Perhaps they are ashamed I would be. I would not expect them to get hurt helping her but if they could have stayed round or rung the police etc that would have been good.

I hope you are all ok and will catch up later. Thank you again all of you.x
Glad she is OK maxdp. It must have been a horrid ordeal.

Nothing alike but just about friends here. My son got very drunk at age 14 and had to be bought home by paramedics cause he was slightly unconcious:eek:. His friends rang the ambulance (although they had been drinking themselves) and stopped with him all the time (although it mean't they were all in trouble then:o) but the thing is, these lads were not the ones that any mother would really want their sons hanging a round with and we were told that by the teachers at school but I am not like that where I judge by someone elses comments. I was so pleased that although not the most angelic of lads they were at least proper friends to my son and I thank them for that;). If someone does not stand by you then really and truely they are no friends at all and I would certainly steer my daughter away from friends like that.

Glad you had a good time at TESCO.

So sorry to hear about your daughter getting mugged, poor soul.

It happened to me earlier this year at a cash machine, they stole the money and threw me to the ground. I had oxygen on at the time, but that doesn’t make any difference to low life’s like them. If I had got up quicker and caught them I would have knocked them out.

I hope she’s not too distressed and that she reconsiders her association with the two gutless so called “male friends”.:confused:

    Gerry x x x ;)
    That is terrible Gerry:mad:.

I quite agree with your points here Marshallka never judge a book by its cover. I always prefer to give people the chance rather than judge on others opinions.. I am glad they stuck up for you son.

Anyway on the shopping task we went to Sinsbury and apart from not being able to park and it being packed i survived in tact so did everyone around me. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed herself and feels a lot better. Thank you.
