    Continued.......

Gerry puts her foot in it once again……
Was in the checkout queue, there was a wee man looking at special offers on bedding, he asked me if it was sheets in the packet I told him it was pillowcases the sheets were in the packets on the bottom shelf He asked me what colour he should get he had white in his hand, I said get the blue ones the white will get dirty easily. (he looked as though he needed a good wash) I told him he would need to buy 2 packets one sheets and the other pillowcases. He asked how much it would cost all in when I told him he put the packets down and walked away. Judging by his dirty clothes, I was thinking he might have been homeless. and he probably couldn’t afford them.:confused:

I felt really sorry for him, thinking the poor wee soul couldn’t afford to buy his sheets and it being The season of good will, I headed back in to shop to give him a couple of pound towards his sheets, I met him coming out and went to give him the money making a joke here’s money for your sheets your present from Mrs Santa Claus. :xmassmile:santa2:

The guy pulled out a bundle of notes from his pocket _pale_ _pale_ look he said I’ve got money here (it was at least £500), he had just finished working on a building site so that’s why he was so dirty and scruffy looking....

I had just insinuating that the guy looked like a neglected down and out.  I was so embarrassed...:o:o I couldn’t apologise enough, what a horrible way to insult someone.

He ended up laughing :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: and said it was probably the nicest thing anyone had ever done for him. I was absolutely affronted I couldn’t get back to my car quick enough.:embarasse :(

    Lesson learnt

1/ you should never judge by appearances ......:naughty::naughty::naughty:

2/ Gerry is always saying the wrong thing and getting into trouble....

    A Mortified Wee Gerry :smileyhea
    Oh Gerry:D, you mean't well though.:T

:confused:Been to the docs with daughter and her blood result came back positive for glandular fever, poor girl no wonder she has felt so bad.

She is distraught she had some work at the local bar with lots of extra money lined up, but as you all know health is wealth. I think she feels happier though knowing what she has now, as we were all worried that she wasnt recovering quickly enough for tonsiliitis (sp?)

    Love x

Oh bless her. I had glandular fever when I was 25 and I felt grotty. I really hope she recovers really quickly.

Hello Di, my brother seems to be doing well, in his first 100 days post transfer he has only be in hospital twice, once with a tummy upset and the second time for swine flu, they sent him home as soon as they found out thats what it was!
Only took a two course dose of tamiflu to clear it up and seeing as his immune system is not good that was quite an acheivement.
Hoping he will be well enough to join a family gathering on Boxing Day.

    KEEP WARM!

It was about time I went out and let my hair down. It was a bunch of "wild" women and such good fun. I heard that donotpassgo was going on her works do and showergirl too so I blame them for my sore head...:p

    Well worth it though.;)
