I've got to do our christmas shopping wed and thursday........:eek::eek::eek:
Daughter had a really rough night again last night she is starving but cant get much down......have you got any suggestions, poor girl fed up with soup, eggs bashed up in a cup and jelly.

Did they do blood test to confirm Glandular fever? How old is your daughter?

I promise you donotpassgo that I would never suggest this , if I hadn’t used it myself before and it honestly did help.

Gargling with salted water, If she does this every hour or two, by tonight she’ll feel the benefit. Put some water into a cup from a boiling kettle and let it cool add as much salt as you think she can manage without being sick. (the more salt the better though). I had about 15 mouth ulcers after a long period on steroids, I tried every mouth wash on the market and the best treatment was Gargling salted water.

Please tell your daughter "Auntie G" said sorry, for suggesting horrible medicine, however i promise her that it wiil help take the infection away...

Ahhh eggs bashed up in a cup reminds me of ma wee mum, she used to do that when we were sick.. :j :j

How about some angel delight it’ll melt in her mouth , Fruit smoothie or yoghurt for protein and vitamin B2: If she’s not been eating for a few days it might be best to get some calcium into her you could try little pots of custard or rice. Macaroni & Cheese or even the dairy lee Triangle’s. Weetabix with hot milk would be good too.
