I don't think it is maxdp. Its "Lian" and laini got back a bit more than £5200. Her PPI was a horrific amount.

Also I don't think there was really much of a story about FOS. I thought it was about the timescales, treatment etc. Also when i rang FOS the other week I was told by the person I spoke to at FOS that someone had "wrongly" put that Barclays were the worst offenders at FOS and they had put it on one of these sites. He told me it was totally untrue and he said "you cannot believe what you read". Yeah right, seems it was true so you also cannot believe what you are told by FOS sometimes.

Ahh yes I knew our Laini got two that I can remember one about 15 the other I cannot remember. Oh well. Well that is why FOS need to name and shame the worst offenders officially I think.

I am thinking of getting a labrador pup. Kids are really looking forward to it. I know it is a big responsibility but think it is about time we had a dog. Have had dogs all my life really and have not had one for a few years. Am excited but a bit apprehensive as well. Am going to look at weekend. Any advice would be gladly accepted.

Brilliant idea Max, only advice I have is hide all shoes and underwear, my labrador constantly steals these items even at 9 years old.xxx

Hi all Hope you are all well just a quick post as not got set up at home yet so I am at local library. I havent got time to fully catch up with you all but
Max great idea with lab puppy mine is 7 months and I love him to bits you are right Pinknico though watch them shoes. My pup doesnt chew anything else but shoes my daughter and I have no heels left. Anyway we are now in the new house it looking real good, although I am having a real hard time adjusting and have had days and days of tears, it doesnt help as we still have some things at old house so hopefully once they are gone I can move forward. We been in a week now so it is now looking like home. Hope you are all ok and I will chat again soon Take care I have missed our chats. :smileyhea:hello:

Don't do it unless you want total unconditional love for all ITS life:D. I love animals and have to say more than some people or probably MOST people - that is bad but i have felt like this all my life. My daughter and me were watching the Flintstones yesterday and it was a scene whereby Wilma's mum was tied up on the floor and also Dino. We both went "arrhh" at Dino and then my daughter said "why did we do that at Dino but not at the human???".

You will not regret it Maxdp. Dogs are fab and even mad ones like mine. My border has been lots of trouble since day one and we were even advised to have him PTS but I could never have done it. He has given this house so much love and so many laughs. A dog is for LIFE and not just for christmas. Mine is not the ideal breed though and I rushed when we got him but I would not swap him for the world. My little one, the lhasa is ace too but really is not so much fun cause he sleeps a lot. He is 12 now and the border 9.
