    Yep, Nan to 2 beautiful boys, 6 & 2.

Hubby told me a few days ago that he had 1 of the 20p coins. OOOH says me. He said he was going to hang on to it and not try to sell it or exchange it. I told him he was lucky to have 1 without a date, to which he replied....................... 'yeah, no date on it, only 2008 on the 1 side!!!!!!'
Well, I looked at him stupid, what did he expect, a birth date on it? Poor soul had just come off a 12 hr shift tho, lol.

Not really fussed, maybe Cornwall, Devon or West Wales, I just can't believe they are asking for up to £1000+ for a week, we were thinking more of £300 - £400. I must be living in cloud cuckoo land.

    Awe Karen there's sweet, 2 grand sons.:A
It will be nice to take them away for a holiday, I think kids make the holiday don't they?;)

Lol, your poor hubby bless him lol :D

    Golly that is very expensive.........

I love Newquay in Cornwall, we used to stay in the flats overlooking Newquay beach/harbour, I used to watch my hubby and the oldest go off on fishing trips from the window lol.
Still it was expensive then in 2001, goodness knows on the prices now, I dread to think. XXXXX

I would put Picture in default and then in brackets put FSCS maybe???. Its worth a try with FOS here as Picture would have been under FOS jurisdiction at the time of the sale. I would certainly contact your citizens advice too and see whether they can get you onto someone. ALso you MP. Anyone is worth a try. Its not enough sometimes to just get back the PPI as its all the damage that has been done that is irreversible.
Thanks Marshallka for the info I will give all that a go :T;)

    Evening all,
Well done all of you on the petition, I have my pen poised ready to sign. I'm really good at forgery too, you think that may help? (Joke)

I would hate to be in your position Dialysis, but just remember that the decision you come to is the best one for you at the time. Give yourself a 'Well done me (us)' pat on the back for dealing with the situation.
Will also be thinking of you tomorrow and hope it is everything you could wish for at this time. Good luck to you and yours. xx

Been doing some more sorting today (the halo is getting awful tight) and came across my old stamp collection and a bag of old coins, 1d dating back to 1866. Will have to do some research to see if I'm holding a highly sought after, extemely valuable collection, lol.

Also been looking for a caravan to rent so we can take our 6yr old grandson for a break, bl..dy h.ll, have you seen the prices they want, I only want to rent for a week not buy a share in one!!!

HI Karen thanks hun for your kind words and support. Hope your holding an absolute fortune in those stamps and coins, if so can I have a sub lol:rotfl::rotfl:You are right about the price of caravans we have always taken the kids to the lake district to a lovely caravan site up there, the kids are no longer kids anymore but the prices have more than trebled over the last few years, and a lot of the vans have been replaced with log cabins and rich people!!! All i can suggest is the internet for late bookings maybe. Anyway good luck hope you find something;) Oh and the 20p thing I did exactly the same running around the house all excited pounds signs in my head date on back poo

Flaming typical, it's my day off and it's raining. Luckily I haven't much washing to do as I have been doing a bit each morning before I go to work.

Never mind I have got loads of work to do in the house and a pile of ironing so that's my day planned.

Hope you all have a good day and I will be back later to catch up
