What a week this is turning out to be…I got called into school yesterday afternoon to find out that DS was fighting with another lad, this other lad has instigated quite a few fights in the past two weeks and as a consequence of this last one, they have both lost their playtime at lunchtime today
Today is the day the DH goes to see the Consultant about his eye, he told me last night that he’s got a shadow again. So I can foresee yet another operation on his eye in the near future
Last night I sold something else on Amazon, so that total over there is now up to £7.36, would like something else to sell before the next payout on Thursday but if it doesn’t happen it’s no big deal…still happy with this amount
I was hoping that today would be a NSD; however I need to go to the post office and Boots to buy some nappies. Tomorrow will be a NSD as I defiantly do not need to spend anything.
I have also got playgroup this morning, so that should be good for a few hours. I think we are meeting at the other one we went to last week that we don’t have to pay for.
Plan for today:- Wash up - Done
- Washing - One load done for today
- Post office – using money saved to pay for postage - Done
- Boots - Done
- Opticians to get DH contact lenses - Forgot
- Playgroup - Done, went to free one

- Hoover upstairs - Done
- Sort dinner out – Chilli
Have a good day everyone and I’ll update later.0 -

I thought I’d put an update on my diary as two things have happened today.
First one – I went and spoke to DS’s teacher and explained that as far as I have heard from a few parent’s the other boy is the one that is starting the fights. The teacher agreed and advised me that they are aware and are working on it, DS has still lost his playtime as the teachers have to make the other children aware that fighting is not acceptable in school. Good thing in my eyes that they are taking notice of what this 4 year old is up to.
Second one – DH rang me after his appointment to advise that his retina is still attached to back of his eye; the Consultant couldn’t explain what the shadow is that DH can see and explained that it is probably the marks from the lasering that he had done twice.
Provided nothing else happens and nothing else goes wrong with his eye, he goes back in 5 weeks for another check up and then they can discuss the operation to remove the oil and do the cataract operation – Thanks to everyone who has given support :A
I sent the parcel off using the money that I had saved, so 90p there and then bought DD some chocolate 45p and some nappies £7.99 and after all that I still came back without DH’s contact lenses…total spent today: £8.44 added with what I spent yesterday: £11.23 to come off my total for the week.
I need to go and get DH’s contact lenses before I pick up DS from school, so will sort that out once I have washed up and hovered upstairs.
Catch you all later

I was going to go and get DH's contact lenses but a typhoon seems to have errupted outside...so I have cleaned the microwave instead
DH isn't in dire need for them yet and can possibly wait until the day before payday before I get them if I don't get chance this week. 0 -
Have just been and picked up DS and come home, checked my e-mails and I have sold another c.d on Amazon...Payout now stands at £9.91

Also school told me that DS was really good today and got a smiley face on the board.
I am feeling really good about today and just hope that this lasts.0 -
Sounds like a great day..0

Did you go into boots for the nappies, I went and did a huge stock up yesterday as pampers were on 3 for 2 plus its triple points on parenting, Plus when you go to the points machine the voucher for when you spend over £25 has gone up to 250 points. The wipes are also on BOGOF. I did forget that I would have to carry it all back home on my own though!
Glad you are having a better day, I just wanted to wish you luck for thursday, I may not get online tomorrow. Hi hun,
Yes I did go into Boots, DD can only use the cheap brand of nappies though as she comes out in a horrendous rash or Pampers deal would have been brilliant. When DH gets paid next week I thought about doing a big shop and getting some more nappies and wet wipes for DD.
Thanks for the good luck; I will let you know about Thursday, althought it might not happen until Friday. I will write as much down as I can and need to think of questions to ask him about DD. One for tomorrow I think.0 -
Yaaaawwwwnnn….why is that kids sleep through some nights and then other nights wake up? I feel shattered today…DD kicked it off by falling out of bed and 1:20am, then DS woke up at 3:30am complaining of having bad dreams and then proceeded to come into our bedroom and 3:50am saying he couldn’t sleep, then after being guided back to bed…he comes in at 5:10am, clambers in to our bed and promptly falls asleep! In between all this I put up with DH nicking the quilt and snoring and then listening to the dawn chorus outside!
On the upside Amazon e-mailed to say that they have released £9.91 to the current account and I also sold another cd on Amazon very early this morning
So as I munch on Weetabix and drink very strong tea to wake myself up (which isn’t exactly happening) here is my plan for today:- Drink more caffeine - Done
- Wake up - I wish
- Post office – using more saved change - Done £1.80 used from change pot
- Morrisons for milk - Done, got some beef as DH didn't want sausage in his casserole. Spent £8.48
- Wash up - Done despite much protesting from me
- Wake up - Getting there
- Clean hob
- Do one Dooyoo review - Done
- Wake up - Nope feel like a zombie
- Nick Hypno’s idea and make sausage casserole for dinner - Change of plan - Beef casserole sorted, oven on timer
- Go to bed once DH gets home - Doubtful but will have an early night
I made chilli last night and put some aside for DH for lunch but he decided to tell me this morning that a sub contractor is buying lunch today. If I’d have known that I’d have left it in the pan; oh well more for me and DD and the freezer I guess.
Have a good day everyone and I’ll update later.0
