i remember this, at this time i used to get a bus to work so listened to Chris Evans morning radio show on my walkman, and he was just playing music in respect to Dunblane (no talking or chatting) and a guy phoned in complaining so Chris basically told him that if he didin't like to to listen to another radio station if the guy couldn't give the vitims and town respect, he was the type of listener CE didn't want.

My day isn't getting any better. He can't relight the boiler now.
Today was going to be the first day of cutting down on my alcohol intake.
  • No love lost between me and the press. When I worked for BCAL I helped on the emergency team that brought the survivors of the Herald of Free Enterprise back. The press would lie/cheat/say anything to get access to the bereaved/survivors..I didn't realise how low they would stoop till I saw a reporter physically push an old lady to the floor just because he'd get a better view if she wasn't there ..ditto all over again when we brought the Iran hostages home...

That's awful. It seems so hard to get to the truth. And have any trust in Journalists or the news.

Just really makes me want to pay off all my debts and go live on an island growing strawberries.

    bloody world.

I will cheer up I promise. Mum made chops for tea.

Here's one to cheer you up - fainted running home today (luckily was stopped at lights) due to low blood sugar - gave tourists a fright and had to buy HUGE doughnut on the way home as it was the only food available - was getting some funny looks walking down the road in my running gear practically inhaling a doughnut :D
