Hungerford wasn't it? We got back from Washington on Sept 11th, my DH first trip in command-immediately, the rules all changed, and the kids have never seen him at work..not allowed into cockpit. Wheres the harm in letting his kids sit in the flt deck I ask you??Debt-free...and staying that way...0

I watched 9/11 as the second plane hit the tower. I was working until 12pm and got in and turned on the TV and there was a guy on Fox News talking and with that, the plane just went 'bang' into the second tower, I thought - blodyhell, what is happening?. They then had loads of footage as it literally happened with dust covered people running away and there was this reporter trying to stop people and one just shouted at him to stop filming and help because there were people trying to escape. I never saw any of that footage again on any channel or programme other than as it happened on Fox.

Now September 11th I do remember vividly.
I remember as if it was yesterday. I came home from school and a council man was servicing our fire and the tv was on in the backgroud. I just stood there for hours watching the tv. I couldnt believe any of itUp untill last year I had 100's of papers in my cupboard as I collected them all. Last year I decided it was time to recycle them, regret recycling some of them though.
Its like they say though you remember things, like JFK shooting, one of the beatles being shot, Diana, Dumblane (I was in primary then) The queen mum
