Morning,
couldn't think of a whitty title sorry!
Having a lazyish day today, do need to go to tesco as I haven't been for 2 weeks and there is literally a tub of butter, some gone off milk and a bit of cheese in the fridge and the cupboards look just as empty!
Also need to go for a run later..its getting a bit close now

Morning Sally and all who follow.

Sounds as though a trip to Tesco is pretty essential today! Lovely and sunny here (at least for the moment). Long may it continue.

  • Morning all, Sally I think you really need to go to tesco if your fridge is like that :rotfl: Not much going on here today, just cutting and sticking and sorting out some stuff for holiday :j

    Morning !!!

DH is back at work today, so not much going on here.

I've decided enough is enough on the food and diet front. I'm seriously considering doing the Cambridge Diet. DH has said he will join me. I'm reading everything I can about it, and looking for local counsellors. There seem to be a couple in our area, so how do I choose the nicest one from just a piccy :D

Maz, Sammy and Bunny watch out. I might be after mucho advice :p

do they not have a little bit of blurb too? that can sometimes tell you a bit about them... if not, i'd go for the one closest... it's a PITA going every week, so the nearer they are the better....

Have a good chat on the phone and see how you get on, should be a long-ish telephone call, well mine's was... but that could be me....

I don't think this applies but if your BMI is over 40 then you need a GP form signed, so be prepared to come away the first time with a form to sign and not having started the diet... maybe you can get the forms in the post prior to the appointment to meet her...

If OH is doing it to, why not see if you can get a husband and wife counseller... that's what mine are... mostly i see her but sometimes him. A bloke might be better for Nick....

    morning all....

  • I'm absolutely knackered. I went to bed at 10:30, woke up at 6 and then dozed between 7 and 8. I'm sure I shouldn't be this tired but I'm just not coming around.

I've got to set off to my grandparents in a few minutes. My dad's taken my car to work with him to sort the mirrors out (he works for a vending machine company, in a industrial estate next to a garage) and my grandparents are 1/2 an hour's walk away. Oh well, good practice for that sponsored walk in June. :)

I'm up to £23.96 profit from matched betting! :jOnly £741.75 to go before my Halifax card is paid off and I can think about getting another computer. (Yes, I know, I should pay all of my debt off before I buy anything that my life doesn't depend on, but I need the motivation. :D ) Let's hope I get some good cashback deals on the other bookies.

I'd really better go now, I'm running late. I don't think I'll get back on tonight so I'll talk to you tomorrow.

    Thanks for that Maz.

Looking at the phone numbers, I think the nearest husband and wife team are the other side of town, so that wouldnt be too easy to get to. There's another 2 ladies who might not be too far away. One is maybe 4 or 5 miles away, the other only has a mobile number, so I've emailed her to ask where she is etc.

I'm definitely going to do it. Hopefully I will be able to get in to see someone before we go back to school :T

DH wasnt too keen when I said we would need to weigh in each week, but when I said I would be doing it anyway, he soon agreed

    YAY spud....

Mine lives round the corner so I go in the morning at 8.15! My OH is doing it too but he hasn't done sole source he is just doing two shakes a day plus a calorie controlled evening meal - he can just about cope with that. He has lost 1/2 stone in two weeks...

I weighed in this morning (3lbs in two weeks) and I have just 1/2 stone to lose now but having four days off this week for my holiday.

My hair is too dark now, I think I look a bit hard...hopefully the darkness will wear off soon.

    Weather crapolla here!

On my own in the office at work today so can post....woo hoo.....

And thanks to Buffy I have started to listen to Getting things done by Dave Allen...
