be warned! it all goes a bit Pete Tong somewhere around the middle with a personal falling out of some kind!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
blech.... not such a good day here. OH went into work yesterday to be told he is surplus to requirements, and was sent home with a compromise agreement, so don't really know where to go from here."Transported to a surreal landscape, a young girl kills the first woman she meets and then teams up with three complete stangers to kill again."-- TV listing for the movie, The Wizard of Oz,0

YAY spud....
Mine lives round the corner so I go in the morning at 8.15! My OH is doing it too but he hasn't done sole source he is just doing two shakes a day plus a calorie controlled evening meal - he can just about cope with that. He has lost 1/2 stone in two weeks...
I weighed in this morning (3lbs in two weeks) and I have just 1/2 stone to lose now but having four days off this week for my holiday.
My hair is too dark now, I think I look a bit hard...hopefully the darkness will wear off soon.
Weather crapolla here!
On my own in the office at work today so can post....woo hoo.....
And thanks to Buffy I have started to listen to Getting things done by Dave Allen...
I'm dead excited about it Sammy :T
I cant wait to stop feeling like this all the time. I went for a run /walk on Monday, and have a really sore hip. Feels like I need a blimmin hip replacement. I have constant back ache too. I cant wait to lose some weight, and get out there and do some proper runs eventually
Weather not good here either, dull and rainy so far.Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Morning All!
Still cold infected but not feeling awful - the coffee is working as usualbut at least the weather is brightening up here!
Okay I may get shouted at for this but Spud - I know you want to lose weight but think hard before you take on such an extreme diet - ketosis can be very very damaging to your liver and kidneys in the long term - its a state that occurs to diabetics because their body cant create insulin to process glucose...
There have been literature studies to assess the effectiveness of low carb diets but mostly they have found that the weight loss is due to reduced calorie intake rather than the lack of carbohydrate:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12684364?dopt=Abstract
So the same effect could be acheived (more slowly of course) through a sensible diet that doesnt leave you hungry all the time and is proven to be safe...
