Sutton/Innocent - I rung my branch today and was confirmed that they issue visa debit cards for all non standard ones; i.e. non cheque cards. They only do Visa debit and existing Maestro, if I got a new Plus account my card would not be Maestro but a visa 3-in-1.
A basic would get me a 2-in-1 visa debit with no chq/gtee and it'd be full auth..... is it therefore a branch thing or something that is going through change? Maybe SS can confirm........
I rung HBOS today - accepted for loan - I said thanks, stick it and hung up! I don't want nowt from them let alone a ruddy loan (sober now)....... :rotfl:2010 - year of the troll
