Its a pain but at least they know you're not giving up - plus we all know right now lenders are acting strange pending the test cases, but to be fair this will do little for them as we will win hands down. 1 down 6 to go!
Oh I ain'y giving up @ all, I will do what I can to get Capital one to act in a resposible manner which they are not doing just now
Thanks for all your help

This is my final update Re Capital One Bank
Thanks to one person on this site (Never in Doubt)
I got 3 letters in the past week from all CRA'S confirming that Capital One Default will be removed, I have since checked and had confirmation that this has happened.
So now the CRA reports are clear

Except of course with god damn mother flipping mobile phone contracts as they are exempt from a lot of the regulations that creditors have to abide by

I got Three removed but not Vodafone (OH's file).
Any tips? I even signed a witness statement confirming I heard the DCA say at the time that they would remove the default in return for F&FS... they just don't seem to care.
Problem is though OH doesn't want it to go to the ICO because he works for Vodafone (!)... guess that's his tough luck for working for a company that wilfully breaches the DPA whenever they feel like it. Only two months ago I had to listen to him drone on about how his bonus was affected because of a DPA issue in his store.
F**k the bonus, sort out the staff!!Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

Just PM the vodafone rep on here and ask him to look into it or start a new thread about it, slag off Voda and he will come along and try and sort it for you lol - they usually act as they do not want to tarnish their name.....
I have 3 voda accounts, I would never go to anyone else so won't get involved with them, sorry but I actually like them lol.....
I do however have evidence that they breach DPA like sending my bank a copy of my mobile statement - dont ask :eek:
Tell your OH to go to ICO - they do not issue fines so no probs really, he has to stand up to them!2010 - year of the troll

Don't get me wrong, Vodafone offer a relatively professional and robust service in many areas but having dealt with the networks in another respect - getting adverse removed - Three are definitely the favoured choice!!
CBA to do any more really, he's still got an O/S balance on an O2 default which was registered a couple of months hence so doubt Vodafone going would have a useful impact on his score.Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48
