    I would class it as bending the truth, reason being is it is not a credit application just a request to view data held about yourself.

    There is no chance of cifas is there?

    Maybe the OP should go the long route and correctly enter the correct address however it seems very long winded to me

    Noooo don't lie cos they can find out..... that wouldn't log a cifas but wouldn't do you any favours as N Hunter would be used and notified. This would be the issue and it'd remain for 6yrs from date of entry - not date of application!

    Its best to do what I said and leave blank or write in with proof as requested when you fail verification trying to register with creditexpert.

    I got the main CC, Platinum card - £2000 limit - Off the top of my head @ silly o clock after night shift it is 12.4%.

    Hi guys, quick question i am soooooooo confused by this. I have recently applied for the argos mastercard and it declined, i do not understand this, i just applied for a catalogue online and within seconds it gave me an account,i also have a mobile phone and overdraft w/chequebook as well as a full credit check by Avon.Can anyone give an explanation for this? my credit file has no defaults as i regularly check that. Many thanks guys

    Credit is assessed on individual basis - have a read of this link - how to get back on the credit ladder and then the second link is an appeal letter to send argos..... if you get declined then apply to your own bank or one of the sub-prime listed in link below.

    i got cap one card with 2 ccjs only 100 limit
