Toyota verso or VW Touran?

We have a 6-year-old Renault Scenic but would like a 7-seater car (3 children + their friends and various relatives). We're looking at either the Verso or the Touran (probably go for one around a year or two old with relatively low mileage) and have test-driven both. Anyone got any comments about either of these?

Once again sorry for hijacking your thread, but for anyone who had the ABS fault on their Touran please follow this link to the VOSA website and fill in the Safety Defect Reporting Form. Vosa may then look into the problem.
