Well, not a bad weekend for a change.
Friday: Gizmo was poorly again so had to get him back into the vets, same problem as before so he's now on the special diet in case of crystals as I can't get a sample out of the little bu88er!! No matter how many times I put him in that tray he sits and looks at me as if to say 'I'm not going to do a thing so you may as well let me out!' And then within 5 minutes of letting him out he goes to the normal tray!!! The little rat! So, he's on special food and more anti biotics, only difference is he wont eat these tablets! Luckily Mum is home from her holiday:jAnd suggested putting the tablet in some Dairylea cheese, I always have this in the house as I love it. (She had a brill time and now I need to book a weeks holiday so I can go down and see all the pics and videos
Not sure when yet though as trying to work out cattery prices etc as no-one to look after the kittys.) So he's on special sachets and he must think Christmas has come early as he get's 2 WHOLE sachets a day, he's going to be a right fat little devil by the end of this 'diet' Fri cost me £46.11 so he has cost us £179.20 so far!! Really must remember to find the claim forms for Pet Insurance and see if I can claim some back.
Cinema was good, went to see Aliens in the Attic (DH's choice) was ok, I've definitely seen worse and laughed most in the last 5 mins of it!!! :rotfl: DH seemed to enjoy it though suprisingly. But all in all was a good day. Tickets cost £14.90, went to pound shop for a bag of Jelly Tots, got my drink at the Cinema as DH promised me I could have one of the Jumbo Ice Blast's as he pinched my bottle from when I went last timeDidn't get to have the look around I was after as had to take Gizmo to vets so didn't leave much time at the Metro Centre.
Weekend was ok but the 2 boys were absolute sh*ts for me!!!! Wouldn't do anything I asked and just plainly ignored me, even in front of DH. Although DH did the usual and took no notice, have had a word with him as they are picking it up from him, sometimes when I ask him to do things he ignores me, as they have seen this they think it is ok for them to do it too, so told them in no uncertain terms at dinner on Sunday 'Don't ignore me!' I'm hoping it has worked as I'm fed up with being treated like that in my own home! If they do it at home with Mummy or Mummy's boyfriend/soon to be husband then that is up to them to let it carry on, but it won't be happening in my house!
Apparently oldest SS asked when DH took them home why they hadn't had a dinner, they had had cheeseburgers with chips so I definitely did feed them , so DH told him to stop being silly as they had had dinner, then he said no we didnt, he's after the full Sunday lunch! For 2 of them!! It wouldn't be so bad if me or DH ate roasts but DH is a fussy eater and is 'fed up' of chicken but won't eat any other meat, and because of my ME/CFS I can't eat any meats at the moment as my tummy is very sensitive to different foods and does not like many meats at the moment! So, a roast for 2 boys can be difficult considering my energy levels (or lack of them atleast) but will see what we can manage next weekend, only have them from Sat night till Sun eve as Mum is getting re-married on Sat and would like the boys with her (although when DH asked if they could be there for our wedding she said no, DH isn't too pleased with that but we had a nice day anyway I keep reminding him, and also what we would of done with them the night we stayed at the hotel??)
Grocery budget has disapeared this month, I knew it would as I'd run out of the bits I normally get from the Cash and Carry so had to buy a few bits and bobs. Currently at £196.22/£200, I have £3.78 to last till end of the month!!! :rotfl: I can just see that happening, Not!! lol But, still out of overdraft so not overly worried.
Am only doing money/cheques for people over Christmas, cheque's for my family and money for DH's. Will have to try and find something for the kids but only budgetting for £20 each boy so hopefully manage it (so long as DH doesn't overspend again!) If he wants to spend more on them he'll have to save his tips and put them towards it, budget is for £200:
My Mum and Dad £20 (CQ)
My Sis and BIL £16 (CQ) (£16 as found a DVD for Sis which would make a perfect Xmas pressie for £3.99)
First Aunt and Fam £20 (CQ)
2nd Aunt & Fam £20 (although not sure how I'm going to get it to her as they live in Trinidad & Tobago)
Gran 1 £5 book voucher
Gran 2 £5 book voucher
DH's Mum £10
DH's Bro and GF £20
SS1 £20
SS2 £20
SSS (DH's step son) £20 (Not sure on this one yet as he's never with us anymore although no doubt he will be for Xmas to see what he can get)
All this totalled = £179.99
So leaves £20 to find little bits and bobs for boys stockings. My Mum has always done these for me and Sis and I'd like to carry the tradition on.
New computer pot seems to of gone out the window for nowReally want rid of my credit cards but might set up SO in the new year for a small amount
Then again, just had a thought, I'll use my PaD for the computer
Take me about 10 years to afford it but never mind :rotfl: I'll get there in the end, will up the PaD amounts but only when able to.
I had a phone call about the AAT training early Friday morning, luckily I was up but DH was still sleeping hehe. Unfortunately the wages would more than likely be £95 ish a week if I was to start as an apprentice, or if I was to do Distance Learning it would cost between £500 - £650 and there's no payment plan available! I've already tried Distance Learning and didn't get on with it so not an option unfortunately, looking around now for any evening classes available.
Still looking for somewhere else to live, rang a few places up on Sat but offices must of been closed as got answering machine at them all  Lunch time on a Sat, surely they'd be open? Gave them name and number (home) so I'm guessing I'm going to have a few missed calls when I get home.
Scratch today gave me 10p, currently up to £2.60
BP been bit naughty and not been on since last weekWill have a go again this afternoon hopefully
Bank checked and all spreadsheets updated. Now have a special folder for everything Budget wise on my memory stick as it was beginning to look a bit messy with everything higgle-di-piggledy
Cant think of anything else, I hope everyone has had a nice weekend and got atleast some of the sunshine we had yesterday xxx:idea: Jan 09. Got to go and rush round before pick up DD2 from nursery so will reply properly later but had to chuckle at having £3.78 left for shopping - I BET if you went on Old Style they would be able to work that for you!:DDealing with my debts!Currently overpaying Virgin cc -balance Jan 2010 @ 1985.65Now @ 703.63

Eeeeep, I might of just found the perfect course, 2 evenings a week, Wed & Thur 6-9. But it starts tomorrow  If I was to do it I need to pay £460 for Tuition and £100 for AAT Registration. The payment plan available is I would have to pay £160 tomorrow night and then £150 in Dec & Feb. The money for AAT would need to be paid a few weeks after starting the course.
Now in my normal spreadsheet which is how things are normally it works out fine without even using the overdraft (how cool is that!!!) But, I'm going to view another house on Sat and if we were to go for it I would need to pay tomorrows fee on a Credit Card to afford it. The house I'm going to look at is in a nice area, not far from the last house I looked at, 3 bedrooms for £395 a month.
Agent Fee is £100
Deposit £395
Rent in advance £395
= £890
With the cheque I have from my Mum for £600 we will manage it fine but the added cost of doing this course would put us over the overdraft. So what do I do???
Option 1: Pay tomorrow on CC just in case we decide to go for the new house
Option 2: Pay tomorrow using joint account and risk overdraft crisis if we like the house
I REALLY want to do this course and DH is encouraging me to do it (although haven't told him about the financial side of things as have only just found out myself) If I was to complete this course I could then find a new job doing something as an Accountant Assistant maybe, if I can find one who would take me on and train me/support me to get fully qualified as this would just be a certificate to for a foundation level so basic accountancy skills. A job like this will pay better than what I'm on at the moment so if I was successful I could pay the cards off double quick etc. It's just what do I do to get that first step. Any ideas would be brill!!
Hope you managed to get to DD2 ok Jo HTH with the chuckles:idea: Jan 09. Debt @ LBM - £11936.55 Debt at worst - £12600.55 Current Debt (01/03/2012) £8,859.51 29.7% Paid offHoneymoon Fund £410.40/£6000 House Deposit £1.50:A Proud to be dealing with my debts. DFW Nerd 1177 :A0 -
Heya people
Just a quickie as feeling like death warmed up! Got bloody cold bug from the boys this weekend!! Took as much Vit C as possible to avoid it developing but unfortunately didn't work
Started college last nightGot another class tonight, it's Wed and Thurs every week from 6-9. Last nights class was good, not really learning anything to do with accounting until Jan, just making sure that everyone is at the same level using Excel (use it daily as you all know) and Sage Payroll, again qualified in Payroll but a refresh is always welcome as I don't get to use it regularly as I don't have a job doing wages.
Paid for it last night on credit card but couldn't enroll as I don't know my banks address, I know everything else but not the address :rotfl: but was still allowed to go to class, I just have to bring all the paperwork in tonight with the address on!
Had a good response to the thread I started for help about the situation with DH's XW and what happens when she sadly passes. Now need to wait for DH to come home and discuss it with him.
Cant think of much else, brain very sleepy as not getting much sleep during the night at the moment, bought some vaporizer pads today so hopefully they will help.
Hope everyone is ok

TGIF!!!!!! :j:T Now I can rest, sort of lol and DH comes home
oooo SH that is very tempting!!! but I'm still going to workneed the cash at the moment, especially if we like the house on Saturday, going to need every penny we can save so we don't go too far into the overdraft. But plan for tonight is to go straight to bed when get home and ask DH to make something to eat when he comes home and I'll stay resting in bed watching my new Gossip Girl box set I got last week for £12!!! (It's normally between £17-£20) Ace!
Love my gossip girl and cant wait for the new series to start, although I did a sneaky and watched the first episode after it first came out in America last week  hehe Not sure when it comes back over here though
Course is still going well, managed to go last night and managed to leave at 7:40 as we'd finished the work we were going to do. Got home and went straight to bed after sorting out lunch for today, rang DH for normal evening chat, then had a quickie with Mum then went to sleep, didn't take me too long last night thankfully, had vaporizer on, covered myself in vicks (so much it made my eyes water even more!!! :rotfl:) and olbas oil on a hanky left on my pillow (use this nightly even when haven't got a cold as my sinus' get very sore if I don't, and one of DH's pillows to prop me up a bit (spare pillows are in a cupboard which is blocked off by loads of stuff I don't have room for and no energy to move all the stuff. Woke few times but was a better night atleast. Cant use normal cold/flu medicinesas my body is hyper sensitive to the ingredients and even the NON drowsy ones put me to sleep!! :rotfl: I had a bug beginning of this year and was taking Day Nurse during the day, I slept for pretty much 3 days straight  only waking up for meals and toilet (and of course more Day Nurse) when I spoke to Dr about it he said not to use anymore Cold/Flu medicines and stick to paracetamol and plenty of liquids
I use Sudafed if blocking up and Sinutabs if sinus pain but Paracetamol at other times
I wanted to plan Xmas early to make sure we had enough money put back to cover everyone, luckily with using cheques for my family it means they wont clear till beginning of Jan knowing what my family are like for banking cheques from me!! I gave Dad a cheque for fathers day and it took him 2 months  to bank it! Even with me ringing daily to remind him as I wanted it off my spreadsheet!! :rotfl: So only need to take out a small amount and if I can get boys pressies through cashback sites even betterWill make sure DH tells me what he wants for them.
Haven't got the boys tonight as Mum is getting married tomorrow so DH picking them up at 9pm so that they can be with Mum. I think the weather is supposed to be nice so thankfully it should be a good day for them.
Ummm cant think of much else, hope everyone is ok
