    Right, drum roll please .......................................................

    Grocery Budget £169.34/£200 :j:T:j:T:j:T Wahooooooooooooo

In January the total debt was £11378.79, the total has unfortunately gone up to 12,600.55, but so have payments so still looking at around 3-4 years, until I win the lotto :D

    CC1 (HSBC) - £1780.32 DFD - June 2011
    CC2 (Asda) - £924.17 DFD - 2012
    Apex (HLC) - £55 DFD - 19/09/2009 :T
    HFC (DFS Sofa) - £1104.15 DFD - March 2012
    Car Loan (Halifax - £3209.15 DFD - July 2012
Overdraft - £100 (Just incase) DFD - Jan 2010 hopefully
    Littlewoods - £316.00 DFD - July 2010
    Volvo Repairs - £190.00 DFD - Dec 2009
    Mum - £2200
    Dad - £1500

    Total left - £11,378.79

Honeymoon Fund - £50 (Slowly getting there)
Moving Budget - £0 Used it to get out of overdraft, starting again end of Sept

So, to quickly round up, it's looking better than when I started :D
    Total Debt at worst £12,600.55
    Total Debt 01/09/09 £11378.79
Paid off so far £1221.76 :D
No idea how to work out the % paid off but it looks good enough for me in black and white :D

ETA Someone has helped me in telling me how to work out the percentage

100 _________X__ AMOUNT PAID OFF = PERCENTAGE PAID
    TOTAL DEBT

So according to that, using the debt at it's highest, I've paid off 9%!!! Better than nowt

Sorry I haven't been on a few days, been worrying over Gizmo and always busy at work for a change.

News on Gizmo, he has cystitus (sp?) and maybe crystals, having to do a sample to find out if there are crystals or not, been to the Vets every day so far and cost us around £135  Going to check pet insurance when I'm home to see if I can claim any of it back. On Tuesday he had 2 injections, one anti biotic and anti inflamatory, had another 2 this morning and has tablets every night ;) he is a very well behaved kitten and eats the tablet no bother  I put it on my hand, he sniffs at it and then eats it!! :rotfl: Although someones post on the fibro thread with a link to a poem about giving tablets to cats had me in tears I was laughing so hard!!! It's exactly like the poem when we try and give Angel the tablets but Giz seems to be ok :) He will have blood in his urine for a few more days but it should start to settle down soon, although it will be a problem that will re-occur during stressful situations, moving house, christmas tree's (although he likes to climb ours!) Vet also suggested a diffuser which DH got when he took him to Vets today, it gives off pheramones (sp?) and is supposed to relax them so hopefully Giz will stop leaving little puddles everywhere!!

So haven't really been able to fly as only thing I had time for was to chase the cat to the tray and then mop up the accidents! So flying of sorts, flying round the house chasing him :rotfl:

Got another rotten headache/migraine  DH wanted me to stay home but told him I had no choice as we need the money and could he give me a lift in as didn't want to drive, so DH has had a busy day so far :) Drop me at work, go home, get Giz, take him to Vet, go shop to get some papers to put on sofa, then down to the yard to clean his coach as wanted to come home last night instead of cleaning it first :)

1 yr anniversary on Wed :D And DH is trying to make sure they don't send him away, I've ok'd it with my boss to have the day off so just waiting on him now (as usual) *Now found out he cant have the week off :(*

Good news on the houses, the one we were interested in they still haven't got hold of the landlord!! But 2 doors away is coming onto the market to rent so they rang me yesterday and asked if I was interested, they haven't put it on the website yet so asked them to find out if the Landlord would allow pets before I went any further, they rang back this morning saying the 2 cats will be fine, it will be £375 a month, £250 agent fee, get that back if we fail, hoping we dont! I checked to see if it will be based on my credit score and luckily it isn't, I think I've worked out what might be stopping me from getting any sort of credit, DH had a dispute with Orange when he was on contract as apparently, he kept setting up the Direct Debit, but whenever the date came for the money to go it never did, but when they did try to take it there would be nothing in his account as he assumed it had already gone, there were about 3 bills left unpaid and it took a debt recovery company to get the money off him (I wish I'd known about this as I'd of sorted it myself so that neither of our scores would of been damaged!) Bond will be a months rent plus months rent in advance so it will be £750. Cant quite afford it ourselves so I've asked my WONDERFUL Mum if we can borrow some and I'll get it back to her as soon as able, so borrowing £600 off Mum, will make my debt total higher but atleast it's 0% interest and no demand date. With the rent being less I'll be able to pay off both CC's by the end of next year :) and balance will be over £1000 so can pay her back then :D She's sending a cheque as they are going away on the 8th for their holiday to Canada to celebrate Mum's 50th and they're 25th Anniversary :) So if we get the house I bank the cheque, if we don't, I rip it up :) Going to view this one on Sat at 11, depending on if we have the boys or not DH will be coming with me, but I don't want any stories getting back to Mum so if we have them I'll be going on my own, just hope I don't get lost as I'm not very familiar with roads I don't know up here yet :o

    Hope everyone is ok
    xxx

ETA SH I've enjoyed reading through the thread, still haven't posted though, I'm a fraidy cat, I always lurk for few days/weeks before I finally post :)

Glad you are enjoying the thread - I rarely read it as I feel I am intruding on sis - who is the one who is ill - but occasionally dip in out of nosiness lol!

Glad that another house on the street has come up - sounds promising!

Have you tried checking your credit reports? I signed up for the free trials with Experian and Equifax and was quite an eye-opener - found out am not yet on the electoral roll at my new house despite sending off the form so need to sort it out, and also that am financially linked to my ex:eek:

Would be useful if you wanted to find out what was going on - there's a page about it on the main site.

I've done mine, there's nothing out of the ordinary on mine, just who I have credit with, how much, that I've never missed a payment. Tried to do DH's a few months ago but it wouldn't work, asked him to ring and find out why and they said he didn't exist, I've asked him too many times to ring them again and find out why but not happening, I've given up asking but put the blame right at his door when I got refused a loan to pay off all our debts, thought it would guilt him into doing it but still hasn't!!!

But if we get this house I could have all my CC's paid off by end of next year :) and have some savings too with a healthy bank balance :D So might be debt free even sooner :) Need to get the house first though :o Been reading through all the info on what the EA will need to apply for the new house and they need proof of identity, of course, problem I have is I sent off my application to get my driving licence changed last week with my marriage certificate in and my passport is still in old name :o hoping the marriage certificate will come back soon as I use that to prove my name has changed I just haven't got round to it yet, plus it's so expensive to do your passport. I also forgot to put my old licence in the envelope  so sent them an email and they wrote back saying there's a problem with it as there was no photo attached, there was and it cost me £4 to do so they better find the right application and send me my marriage certificate!!!

Gizmo is getting better, DH put the diffuser on when he got home and there haven't been any more accidents :T:j apparently its stress and we need to minimise it, moving house can be stressful so uh oh, diffuser lasts for 4 weeks though so I'll just get a refill when it runs out if we do move. I've had a look on the website for the EA and there is a house on there which matches everything, but on it it says no pets  so unsure if that's the house I'm going to look at. By the description though it sounds perfect!! Even has a shower!!!!! :T:j:T:j Trying to wash my hair in the bath is rather difficult when ME/CFS playing up!! And it has fitted wardrobe in the master bedroom!!! Wahoooo I can give my wardrobe to the boys then and I'll have somewhere to (finally) put their clothes :D

But, not getting hopes up too quickly, we could still fail the application or I may not even like it after looking at it. I'll be going on my own as DH is working on Sat and has to get up at 5:30AM  to get there on time :( means Sat and Mon morning I'm going to be up early as he's on tour again from Monday, hate being woken at that time as I can never get back to sleep.
Finances are still looking good on both spreadsheets, of course it's looking amazing on the mock up I've done for if we move, which is also why I'm thinking we'll apply even if it isn't the 'perfect' home as we'd be saving so much money, could become debt free in 1.5yrs and then we could look for somewhere else, maybe with an extra bedroom so that I can hide in there on the computer when I want to get some work done instead of having them peering over my shoulder which I cant stand!!!

Well, nothing new to report unfortunately, everything seems to be ticking over nicely so I'm sitting here, in my office, on my First Wedding Anniversary wishing DH could be home so we could celebrate it together, but thanks to his friend who he helped get a job where DH works, he has had to go away as the friend got fired for drinking and being aggressive towards his passengers!! Bl00dy idiot!!! Left a message on DH's facebook telling how much I love etc and also that it's a shame we couldn't of been together, hoping the 'friend' will see it! He hasn't even bothered contacting DH since this happened, it's a shame because him and DH known each other for years! Best mates, this has really bugged DH as he thought the friend had changed his ways, maybe not :o So hoping we can do something next week if he is home.
Gizmo is much better and back to his normal noisy self!

Unfortunately the house I went to look at was too small, the garden was massive and would of been a perfect size, but the house was very small, we wouldn't of even got our sofa into the front room! Also it was advertised as unfurnished but is actually part furnished. So, on the hunt again, knowing I could have rid of my CC's by the end of next year is a good motivator for moving to somewhere cheaper! With my CC's paid off, maybe I can make some overpayments on other bits and bobs, get the loans out of the way and save up for a proper holiday/honeymoon. And then the money will be going towards a House Deposit to buy for when we move back to Cornwall :) But, one step at a time, need to find the house first!

Mum and Dad have gone on their holiday, flew yesterday at 11:05am and didn't realise how much I still depend on my Mum even though we're so far apart, miss being able to ring and talk to her but Sis has said it's ok to ring her as often as I need to which is nice of her :) BIL said I could ring between the hours of 9-5 Mon - Thur, mainly because they are both working at these times :rotfl: He makes me laugh.

Having a few problems at the moment with issues from the past, normally I would talk to Mum but she isn't here and she's the only one that know's about it. Last year DH cheated on me, and I have no idea how I'm supposed to get past this, some days I'm fine and I don't even think about it, but then there are days where I question what I'm doing. He hasn't done it since as far as I know but I have all these thought's going around in my head and I can't seem to stop them! This was going on from April to June last year, I found out the middle of June and left him. I didn't talk to anyone about it at the time as I wanted to figure out what I wanted to do on my own without any one else's interference. I asked him to still come to Sis' Wedding as I didn't want my family to suspect anything was up so he did and we managed to patch things up enough to actually get married. I am happy in my marriage, I just struggle when these thoughts start popping up. I know it's linked with the depression and when I'm alone the depression like's to rear it's ugly head. I love DH to bits and wouldn't want to be without him, it just hurts to think that he was able to do that so easily. I've tried talking to him about it but he wont answer any questions, he want's to just forget about it, I wish I could
Sorry about the rambling moans, just got no-one else to talk to at the moment
Hope everyone is ok, *hugs* all round xxx

Hi bevan - sorry you had that experience with your OH last year... It is such a breach of trust isn't it. To then marry must have took a lot of love and courage. Having made the decision to marry him - I think you just have to look to the future and try and leave it in the past... If you (and I am not saying you do) keep beating him over the head with it it could drive him away.

Sorry the house was too small - hope you find another one that is big enough.

On the friends to talk to thing.... A while ago I felt I needed more friends - I wrote a list of people that I would approach to possibly become friends with... It worked.... I am now joining a belly dancing class in the hope of having fun and making some more new friends...
