Well done on all your tidying, what have you done with DS?? :rotfl:
I was just flicking around on the internet last night, I know that the Asda that's closest doesn't have Lynx Fever, but I :heartpuls it when he wears that one, it smells gorgeous!!! And I knew Boots had an offer on a few weeks ago, my vaporiser is a boots own one and needed some refills so was going there anyway so thought I'd see if they had any little bits in, I got 2 sprays for £4, shower gel was £1, shaving foam was half priceOnly bits which weren't on offer were the one's I needed!!! :rotfl: I've just remembered I didn't look for the 'Dry' Lynx as thats the anti-perspirant and not the body spray  will see if I can manage a quick nip out when I finish work, if I can get out early and get another 2 sprays, the offer isn't going to last most probably so would be good to get them when they are so cheap

Hello
Just letting you all (or atleast whoever reads) know I am still alive
I'm at home this week as walking got extremely difficult over the weekend so decided a week at home should help. I have done pretty much nothing while I've been home which is good for energy levels, I'm gathering up my spoons (http://www.butyoudontlooksick.com/navigation/BYDLS-TheSpoonTheory.pdf) and I can now manage stairs without help :T To some people that won't mean much, but to a ME/CFS sufferer stairs can be like everest! And I've conquered themNo more crawling up the stairs or slipping down on my bum, I can use my legs
Yesterday morning I managed to tidy up my bedroomI can now get into the cupboard!! Although needed the rest of the day to rest after I managed that.
Today my list is/was:- [STRIKE]Scratch[/STRIKE] *10p*
- [STRIKE]Check bank [/STRIKE] *Done*
- [STRIKE]Update spreadsheet [/STRIKE] *Done*
- [STRIKE]Clean out the cat tray [/STRIKE] *Done*
- [STRIKE]Write thank you letters for birthday which was in August [/STRIKE] *Done
*
- Complete college work, tutor has emailed to tell me I'm ahead of everyone and not to worry about falling behind because of that. Told just to continue with the work I started last week. Still waiting on other tutor to email me tomorrow nights work as that is the night I'm likely to fall behind on!!
- [STRIKE]Online shop, will check to see if I need to order it today for delivery on Friday, or if I can order it tomorrow [/STRIKE]:) [STRIKE]*Would be cheaper to get it delivered tomorrow so will sort it today for tomorrow*[/STRIKE] *Order placed, should be here tomorrow between 2-4
*
xx
Hope everyone is well xxx:idea: Jan 09. Debt @ LBM - £11936.55 Debt at worst - £12600.55 Current Debt (01/03/2012) £8,859.51 29.7% Paid offHoneymoon Fund £410.40/£6000 House Deposit £1.50:A Proud to be dealing with my debts. DFW Nerd 1177 :A0 -
Thanks bevan -
glad you found the savers
BZ is very into spoons theory. It does help but I still don't really get it.... I know people who have "recovered" and gone back to leading more normal lives so struggle to see why that can't happen for BZ and others... But then if the GPs don't get it, it is not surprising that people like me struggle too!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Good work on the list Sal - very organised, esp. with shop - I need to get my a*se in gear with shopping, I like getting out to do it but with kids in tow I just can't concentrate as much as I'd like on how much I'm spending - online shopping is the way I think
Just realised I forgot all about that DLA stuff - my eyes are starting to need matchsticks so when I next get half an hour to sit down I shall PM you, honest!Dealing with my debts!Currently overpaying Virgin cc -balance Jan 2010 @ 1985.65Now @ 703.63

Hi SH
Sorry, keep going awolgetting my body back but the 'mind' is taking it's time in catching up lol I know people who have recovered too, the main one I take notice of is my sister, she was diagnosed when she was 13, she's 22 now and living a pretty much normal life, she works full time AND has a social life!!! Her and BIL are part of a skittles team which they do once a week, they were actually in charge of bookings/money etc last year, I don't know if they carried it on this year or passed it to someone else. But she lives a pretty much 'normal' life, bugs can still knock her for six but she recovers quicker too
DH is finally home!! :T:j By the time he got in I was in bed as had another horrible headache. But in the whole week I have managed to:- Tidy bedroom (until DH came home and made a mess as usual!!!)
- Clean the bathroom :j Toilet on Wed, Sink on Thur and Bath yesterday (once it was clean I jumped in to enjoy the first bath hehe)
Asda shop arrived with no hiccups and they picked out a lovely pork chop which I had for tea that night, was gorgeous!! Tender and juicy, dont often find them myself!! lol Driver explained everything because I was a 'first timer' hehe So now I know what to expect if I need to do it again
Need to get DH to take me out today (mainly for my sanity at being cooped up all week) but we also need some little bits, I need some stamps to finally post my thank you letters for my birthday (which was in August!!!) need one more stamp though, and some cat litter as we've run out.
Have been updating my spreadsheet with no wages for me next week, just in case and it will plunge us back into the overdraftwrong time to have time off before christmas but couldn't be helped, Mum and Sis are ok with banking their cheques in January when I give them the ok, Dad will no doubt take a couple of months to do it again!!! Or I might be cheeky and give Mum and Dad the cheque with both names on
hehe That way Mum can bank it and I don't have to wait on Dad
hehe
DH wants to go to the fair tonight, promised the boys last weekend and it's last night tonight, he's done well on tips this week so told him to use them, asked if I was coming and said we'll see, don't know if legs/body would be up for it but will see how many spoons I have left this eve
Don't worry about the DLA Jo, the way I am at the moment I won't get it completed anyway so going to wait till I'm more of sound mind so I can complete it
Hope all are ok xxxx:idea: Jan 09.
