Trying to find the darkest self tan

Hi all! Exotic-I have the SS bronze and I feel like I'm a little orange also! I was so excited to get this product but then I really dont even want to be a little bit orange! I have very pale skin w/ pink undertones (the same as Glowgirl) and I'm not having any luck! Glowgirl swears by the SS extreme so I am going to try that before I completely give up! I so badly want to find a "brown" tan, just like you. It seems that we have the same problem!
My main reason for using self tanner was becuz I am trying not to use a sun bed anymore, as i dont want to be all wrinkly at a young age! I am almost wondering though, if it would be a bad thing to tan in the sunbed until i get a good base color, and then use the self tanner. Once I am at a good base color I would then just tan once a week for 20 min. and then just keep applying the self tanner. I honestly think we are just so white that the color doesn't turn out very "brown". So I'm thinking if we have a "brown" base and then add self-tanner on top I'm hoping that would work excellent! Does anyone think that is a bad plan? Do you think tanning once a week in a bed is going to make a big impact on my skin? Please let me know what you all think!0 -
I think you would be better off waiting for the good weather and getting a natural base tan slowly using a high spf as protection, that way you will tan safely and it will last longer as well, although a former sunbed freak I really cant recommend that you use them but I know how you feel about not having the colour you want, gosh we're never satisfied are we:rolleyes:Oh to be happy with the pale look and then theres darker skin tones bleaching themselves to be lighter:rolleyes:Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

I would absolutely LOVE to be able to tan outdoors. The problem is I DONT!! lol. I seriously get no color no matter how long I am outside. I either stay pale or burn and peel immediately. SOOOOO frusterating!0

Hi all:) Just to say that went to order a 125mls bottle of Siennasol Extreme yesterday and it says on the site that they are no longer selling that size, the next size available is 500 mls thats costs just over £20 with £3.50 p&p, apparently they do still have a few of the small sizes in stock but I do think I'm going to buy the bigger size, it works out better value even if the initial payout is considerably more, also on the site it says there will be an updated range available in January but it doesn't appear to be on there yet:)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

babybear-def try the extreme,i was recommended it from this thread and it is the best for being non streaky and making me brown. I am also translucent! I also just went to order some glowgirl and think will wait a week or 2 to see the new range. Although not bothered about the smaller bottle no longer being sold as was going to buy a big one now for when the weather gets warmer! I don't use it on my hands tho,i spray them the night before i tan using l'oreal no streaks bronzer.0

Hi, for my hands I use whats left on the mitt after doing the rest of me, the same for my face (now my skin is in much better condition) it seems these two areas need a lot less, I like Loreal fake tan products, I use the glamazon on my face when I fancy a change in the summer or on a night out, I like it cos its a wash off formula and cover imperfections, always a bonus;)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

For those of you who've used both the Siennasol Extreme and the Siennasol Bronze... do they both use the same color guide? I mean, is it the same shade? When I used Extreme, it had a dark, true brown color guide. Is this the same for the Siennasol Bronze? I was considering trying the dha-free solution they sell on their website because I really liked Extreme's color guide (not so much the tan that developed underneath that turned me orange).0

Has anyone tried the siennasol gel yet? Seen it on ebay for £17-99,is it easier to apply?0

Hi, Its funny cos I was thinking about this the other day, I'm going to need some more product soon, not bad going though all these months from just one 500mls bottle, and remembered that Siennasol had talked about a gel, how much do you get for £17.99? and is it the extreme? I'm also confused cos I cant see it on their site http://www.siennasol.co.uk/index.htm but yet you say its on ebay - have you got a link? How the tanning going for everyone? Theres a new (ish) product out that is a self tan (not sure of the strength) and also brings your melanin to the surface so you get a quicker but safer real tan (supposedly), I used a similar product years ago from M&S before I went on holiday and it made a huge difference so might be worth checking out although I cant remember the make atm also the high street brands seem to of stepped up a bit with more choice this year especially from St Tropez and Fake Bake and Rodial but my gosh the prices:eek: I was recently given some of the new Loreal airbrush spray fro medium skin, didn't fancy it myself but gave it to dd to have a go as she likes a lighter colour, 3 layers later and not a bit of difference and it should of cost £15, I would of asked for a refund if I had paid for that.Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0
