  • Hi girls, just read this thread. I am too a fellow tanorexic and have tried for years to find a really dark fake tan after one application, using the cheapest to most expensigve products. I have def settled on siennasol extreme (the 16% DHA) its AMAZING! and cheap. I just bought a little spray bottle and spray it onto my tanning mitt it works wonders. But i am now intrigued by this celebrity one? Is it better any know?? XX

Welcome Glamourista, I prefer the ss extreme to cs, even though its still a great product, I had an issue with delievery and went off in a strop:rolleyes:but it worked out well for me:)

My tanning is going great, I am using a very very light layer on my face every couple of day, thanks to my reconditioned skin:Dbut still using make up, just less of it and it lasts much longer, we wont talk about the big streak I had down my face yesterday cos I was in a hurry but nothing a good scrub didnt sort out, how is everyone getting on?

Morning and welcome LADY_A, to use the CS properly you will need a mitt, the consistancy is just like water, I think you'll struggle to get a decent result with just the gloves but I would be interested to find out how it went, you can buy the mitt in Boots etc for a couple of quid, in the meantime could you use your machine? Good luck with your tanning, please report back if get time:)

    Hey fake tan girlies,

Just thought I'd update you with a new fake tan I have bought - called 'Sun' Express Liquid Tan. Apparantly it's not to be used in spray systems, but designed to be applied as a liquid with a mitt.

Anyway, it's tinted, ultra dark and smells like ......... baby powder!! I couldn't believe it honestly, smells like baby powder!

I got it from Sally Salon services, not sure if it is available elsewhere? And it was only £6 odd for 75ml. :)

    edit: this is it

Thank you, the link from your post takes me to a product that costs £22, is your pricing worked out per ml? Also I'm not sure if I'm reading it correctly but the strength of the product appears to be 9%, please correct me if I'm wrong:confused: 9% would be no good for me but I'm sure otheres would be interested:) Also not much about the composition of the product, sorry to be picky but I do like to be fully informed, how did your colour turn out?

    Hey..

The one you can buy in Sally Salon services is £6 because it's only a 75ml bottle, but they don't seem to sell it online?

The colour is good, a bit lighter than celeb secrets admittedly, but would be good for those not wanting to go 'too dark' and avoid the fake tan smell :)

  • Hello everyone! I have been following this thread for a couple of weeks now. I live in the USA and so I had to order Siennasol by royal air. I am glad that I did but....i was told by a couple of people that i had an orange tint! I really do not want to be orange at all! I got the Siennasol Bronze. Is there a chance that the Siennasol extreme has a less of an orange color? I am pale with pink undertones. I do not tan in the sun at all but I do in a tanning bed. I actually own a tanning bed but decided recently that i dont want to be all wrinking before I even get old! LOL.

Welcome babybear1939:DGood move laying off the sunbed, I have skin tone similar to yours and use the extreme very succesfully, I wouldnt change now, the only time I have had a hint and I mean a hint of orange is when I layer the product before washing off the colour guide, it also fades more quickly and a bit patchy when I do this, which is rarely, I also find several thin layers works better than one heavier layer, good luck - hth:)
