feeling a bit tearful now, just watching the news and the liverpool/ Hillsborough disaster(missed it earlier), all those people, what a waste................

This is stupid will pull myself together and say a prayer for them all...........

Tooch - before I go to bed - I'm not surprised you're tearful over the Hillsborough stuff. I've been remembering, off and on, all day, where I was when I watched the disaster unfold on the TV. And have been doing my best to keep on top of it.

I was sat at my grans watching it.. and when there was the fire at Bradford stadium and i think 53 were killed there.. I remember seeing a guy trying to kick the fire escape door in at the back of the stand and it was locked shut.. I still wonder to this day if he survived... :(

I remember the aerial cameras showing how crammed the stand was and the stewards couldn't see so were shoving people back over the fences as they tried to save their lives.. horrific!!!

I was listening to iplayer with an interview with a couple who had lost both their daughters in the disaster and i had a huge lump in my throat.

Got annoyed at a guy down in the arms trying to stir up trouble on the the Hillsborough thread. Some people cant just leave things alone, a thread to remember those that died is not the place to troll:mad:

rach - well done on completing the form; fingers crossed for you

soappie - I might have to go for NNs shelter as I don't fancy digging through concrete here ;):p Or I could hide in the tunnels under the fort on the hill!

toochoosey - I think most people would be tearful watching that. I know I was. My thoughts and prayers are with all those involved in any way - I'm a huge footie fan, but the game itself is insignificant in comparison; no-one should die watching the game they love. People are campaigning for the inquests to be reopened ....................

ETA: gnb - got annoyed with him too; some people just don't know when to stop!

Right, I need a list for tomorrow and then some sleep!

Hi, Toots, sorry if you havent caught up yet but I need another star,Monday,Tuesday and Wednesday are all done.

Had a bath but think I will need some painkillers,I do have back problems due to twisting a disc at work some years ago ( I was a barmaid at the time and carried too many crates up from the cellar at once)

DD2s computer is playing up so OH will need to look at that ,she is now on the room computer while I am sat on my laptop, takes some getting used to seems more sensitive somehow.

Will attempt to give the kitchen and LR a quick S&S before bed will see how my back is.

Good vibes to Mudbaths Dad,hope it goes ok,same to Frodders dad too.

Well Done on the job application Rach, sure you will do well.

Some friends of my OHs lived at Hillsborough very close to the ground at the time of the disaster and let survivors into their home to contact loved ones and provided tea and any other help they could ,have to say it still upsets me to this day.

Well done on the run Sunnygirl wish I had some of your energy.
