Ok I have had a brilliant day :j:j
before anybody came i S&S the kitchen and the bathroom- hung out a load of washing done overnight - stripped the bed,washed and it was hung out - still have to make up bed yet.

3/13 RT done and dusted - no probs again!

My lovely cousin and her DH arrived just after 10 - is was so good to see them - I hadnt realised I had missed them so much - her Dh sorted my parasol ready for the good weather while cousin and me picked a few weeds out of the gravel and then her DH dug up a shrub - quite a large one that has died - huge roots but it is in the garden bin - we had a lovely lunch and chatted until my driver appearred.

Painter was here too - the bathroom is finished looking clean and bright - will be giving the wall a wash down before I put everything back - he is starting to strip the paper from the kitchen ceiling tomorrow and the walls so need to clear the surfaces and shelves.

And last but by no means least - YOU HAVE DONE IT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!! Ireceived yet another package with goodies - a magazine, an incense set (always wanted to try that), a lovely notebook and pen, and a grow your own fairy kit!!!!! I bet you heard me squeal with laughter when I saw that - it was all my cousin could do to stop me starting it - well we were in the middle of making lunch:rolleyes: and there was a lovely note to (which also pointed out that what i thought was a candle tart in the last package is actually a Lush soap - sorry for being dopey!!! Cant wait to try it - never had anything Lush!!!!

hex honey thats really bad news - this is what people dont think about - when a company goes down its not just the employees that are affected its all the other people/companies small and large that they do business with that can suffer too. Extra strong *good interview-get that jobs vibes* for Friday.

Toots, I’m so glad you have had a good day today. It’s really nice you could see your cousin and her DH. We all wish we could hug you too, perhaps that’s why someone is sending you gifts instead! Think of those gifts as hugs!

I’ve washed up a sinkful of washing up, and restacked it ready for next time.

haven't caught up, had to disconnect suddeenly as the thunder was overhead and I had my dongle in the window for a signal and I heard before they can be dangerous in that weather, so as soon as I heard it, I whipped out the dongle and unplugged the laptop from the mains, then the electric went off!!!!!!
DD was scared for a bit but there was still power in the laptop battery so she played games on there for a while. After half an hour I was bored, the weather had cleared and we still had no electric, checked the fuses in the van, and outside, all looked weel, went to the ungalow behind the van(where the main switch is) and asked nice man, Roger and his was ok, he came to look at ours and fixed it............so all is well again!!!! (sure I could have made that shorter if I tried!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

While DD played I cleared the work surfaces and started filling the sink with water when I ran ou of water.............tough for tonight, only a dish and a cup that had water in it so they will wait till tomorrow.......will stop waffling now and catch up.................

Toochoosy - I love your tales from the caravan....I feel quite jealous and can't wait to go back in ours in 9 days and counting.

I've just realised it's gone really dark in the house.....definitely going to go to bed now.

I AM SO STOOOOOOPID, bloomin water pump is electric!!!!!!!!!!!! I have got water , so dishes washed and waiting to be dried..............

Toots - hugs to you, am glad today went well.

RE the light pulls - the Kim and Aggie one I saw you just pour some bleach onto a cleaning cloth (one of the white woven type ones) and rub it up and down the light pull.....voila! No faffing round with cotton wool etc......same result, less messing.

Triker, healthy vibes for your Dad.

Have felt very out of sorts today - yesterday has caught up with me and my sleeping patterns are all out of sync. Going to bed to have an early night and hopefully get back on track tomorrow.

Will update list tomorrow with what I achieved today....
