What do you all think of my 'new' clothes airer:
http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm65/lubylou23/002.jpg
Oooh - I'm dead jealous! I'd really like one of those for my kitchen.
Well, the pulling out of the PC desk was a real disappointment. Only one v. old and fluffy chocolate button (not sure if it's human or doggy) and lots of dust. I need to work a bit harder on my list!- 1 tatty duvet cover that's no use to man nor beast anymore. 1 tin of balti vegetable curry that no-one knows who bought and is out of date. 1 lot of redundant papers from the notice board. 1 driver CD for a printer I no longer have. 2 leadless pencils. 1 worn out scourer. 2 packets of christmas chocolate coins - BBE April 2008
- 1 set of fixing instructions for a shower that was fixed months ago. 1 charger for a mobile that is no longer in existence. 1 set square. 1 old business card. 1 chewed and useless dog lead. 1 x lot of loose change recycled in £50.00's worth of notes courtesy of the corner shop
- Note I did not cheat and add on every individual coin....
- 6 pieces of wood from garden gone to best friend up the road. 1 half of a hair clip (don't know where the other half is). 1 Which magazine from January
- 1 book sent in the post for RosePink, 1 old Staples catalogue, 1 jiffy bag, 4 plant labels, 2 dead plants, 2 useless plant pots, 3 old Christmas cards
- 1 lot of dust from behind the PC desk, 1 old furry choc drop (maybe doggy, may be human but has gone binwards anyway)
Off to sort out the bathroom....I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Dusty - I got the roller blades at toys r us. They should have been £19 but were reduced to £14 and they've been a great buy. Hers were a size 4 to 6 but they had other sizes too. Hope you get some.
I've just cleared out the gift bag drawer, the airing cupboard and the storage cupboard in the bathroom. Also sorted out the Easter eggs. I love Easter....they're not allowed chocolate until they've had their 5 a day fruit and veg....it's amazing how quickly they manage it!!
Off to do a 60 in 60.

Ok, I'll run if you will too!
erm, ok. Will run later once the boys are in bed. I need to iron too.
Although after a few (coughs) glasses of medicinal wine to offset a rather grim day, I am not sure running or the ironing press is a good idea.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Good evening everyone
I too had a problem with the light pulls and keeping them looking clean. I solved it by taking the knob thing off the end and then threading large holed beads to match the decor onto the cord , put the knob thing back onthe thread and reknotted it and hey presto one snazzy light pull which still has to be kept clean but doesn't go a dirty colour.
BTW Toots my bathroom is all clean and shiney so please may I have a star for today:j.

Ok here's the plan:
put kids to bed (I need to do this too)
go for run
pour large glass of wine on return and slurp (just to rehydrate of course)
quick shower
more wine
HHI
more wine
bed
What do you reckon?0 -
right, have:
- served up tea
- brought in washing-tidied playroom (kids started I finished)
- deadheaded a clematis (as you do!)
- washed fruit bought today
- washed teaspoons and lasagne dish bought yesterday
- emptied DW and put away
- swept floor
Need to hang out bed linen, will just go straight on airer.

how many do you have and how old?
I have DS 5 (6 in 2 months), DD1 4 and a bit, DD2 19 months.
Each has their own foibles of course.
and to soappie as well - I will post a massive post later with what I cook when and how etc etc , it would be so good to have some ideas, its bad enough dring school hols but during termtime its h3ll on earth and I am so desperate for hubs to come home that when he finally does I am in such bad form it sets us up for a good argument and a rubbish evening, No wonder I then eat carp, stay fat and feel miserable all the time.
gotta go DS1 legged it into garden, DD2 crying, they still got to have pudding, will post more later as I am babysitting and will have nowt else to do!Jan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)

Drag out the pc desk and clear under and behind it ... see how good I am to you lot!? I can't move it alone, but I can put the hoover down the back & sides, I do hope that counts.
