moj2 must be nice not to cram / push / kickbox everything into one wardrobe anymore :D

chickenpox are getting more and more - she looks horrible now  - but hardly ever complains; although the 2hr walk was way too much for her ystd and dh has just no sympathy and doesn't understand that she fights an illness and needs lots of tlc
but she only asks for some creme maybe once a day so she is not in too much of a discomfort which is good i guess

    got dressed
    6pc paper recycling
    tidied utility room
    tidied pc desk
    Filing
    swept under pc desk
    cleaned pc desk and surrounding

It's taken me ages to sort out the packaging, how much polystyrene and tissue paper do they need lol anyway boxes are out I just hope they take them, they're a bit funny my lot they wouldn't even take the recyclable easter egg boxes :rolleyes:

    make beds
put bin out for bin men
    sort through wardrobe packaging
    bin what I can^^^
    recycle the boxes
    put recycling box out
    load DW

    quick tidy living room
    S&S kitchen
    make sarnie for work
    house key for work
    WM
    maiden
    sort tea

Got the dishcloth soaking ready to S&S the kitchen. The weather is awful at mo we've had a couple of days with this wet damp mist, one of the drawbacks from living next to the sea I suppose, but it's awful. I WANT SUNSHINE! offskis to make the bed and wot-not.

It's horrible isn't it Crafty my kitchen window looks like it's steamed up but it's not, I feel like I should be hiding in a church waiting for ghost pirates to get me.

Right, off to work very soon so here's what's left to do when I get in:-

    make beds
put bin out for bin men
    sort through wardrobe packaging
    bin what I can^^^
    recycle the boxes
    put recycling box out
    load DW
    quick tidy living room
    S&S kitchen
    make sarnie for work
    house key for work

    WM
    maiden
    sort tea

Haven't got time to empty the WM and hang it on the maiden so I'll leave a note for teenie. I've swept the kitchen floor too seeing as I made such a mess making ONE sandwich  :D

    laters folks!

Chickens - the older dogs were fine, and the older cats. The younger cat learnt not to after they had pecked her. The puppy struggles to accept he must not chase them. Flower - They jump and fly I am afraid even with their wings clipped - they climb over the 4 foot high dry stone wall that divides the veg plot from the flower garden. What has worked is building some small moveable netted frames that we put over young crops. With hindsight I would have built a bigger run for them. Two chickens should lay about ten eggs a week between them Tag depending on variety. I have lots of bits on chicken keeping that I can cut out and post to you if you are interested?

Cleaning behind the desk, I do it regularly but it is in the DR which has as flooring a large patterned rug with a six inch wide lino (parquet type) strip round the edge. All the fluff and fur from the excess of animals seems to gather here and has a life of its own so one of my most hated jobs.

Raining here, and is supposed to be till Sunday which will make me get on inside at least. Off to to get the children dressed and then will make a start. Kitchen needs S&S, and I need to hoover as usual. 9.15-9.45 anyone?

Morning all, forcast promises a good day here so jeans are all on the line and DS1 bedding in the machine.

My hand is not as sore today which is a relief as I had to resort to parrots last night to sleep.

MOzzy I'm glad you enjoyed geocaching - my kids loved it when they were younger and we have done some in France and the USA plus lots in the UK. We always plan a couple whenever we are on holiday somewhere as cheap entertainment

Jjef hope you and DH are ok

Holly hope there was no more upchucking - I assumed the pegs were still in the pot and was just thinking of the shock on some flyers faces

hello everyone, long time no see!
i fell off the flying wagon bad style :o between being back at work, trying to stick to my diet, going back to college, dd1 being a pain (teenage hormones kicking in i think) and dd2 being a handful something had to give - it was the housework!

the place is a disgrace & i can't live in it any more :o

it's dh birthday today and i'd really like him to come home to somewhere that looks and smells clean and tidy so today's list looks like this ...

kitchen - find worktops / clean worktops / empty bin / put recycling in box in porch / load dw / clean cupboard fronts / hoover floor
utility - make start on washing mountain / put clean clothes away / clean worktops once found / hoover floor
dining room - find table / polish table / wipe pc desk & other units / hoover floor
conservatory - tidy toys away / wipe windowsills / hoover floor
lounge - tidy toys away / clean throw / find unit / polish unit / wipe tv, table & mirror / hoover floor
hall, stairs & landing - clear floor / hoover floor
bathroom - clean (it's so bad it's embarrassing) / hoover
bedrooms - put clothes away / change dd2 cot bedding / find surfaces / clean surfaces / hoover all

easy right  well it might be if i spent all day cleaning but have dd1 asleep in bed to contend with when she wakes up & dd2 who needs playing with :rotfl: so will clean when she's napping.
