    Morning everyone :hello:

Dusty glad the hand's feeling a bit better. :)

Well, we haven't got any particular plans today. It's pouring with rain  thunder and lightening here.

    So we need to :

shop - sainsburys, lidl and pet shop
    Bank to pay in cheques
Anniversary card to be bough for the husband... didn't think I'd be celebrating it again? ;)

    Lists to be completed. :D:D

  • Frodders and 3tabbycats thanks for your kindness. Lots of people on here who have proper illnesses, mine is just annoying and tiring really.

JillD, thanks, it does seem obvious, but when we're depressed we can't see the wood for the trees quite often. I was so mad that Rosepink felt she couldn't go to the depression support thread anymore because of that donkey.

hex I am a bit late as DH still eating his brekky...am off!

  • Morning everyone,

Am at work atm so can't join in until 4:30ish but i have emailed todays list to my mum so she's going to get on with it with the help of my niece so not sure how much will actually get done but they seem to be motivated to start off with anyway!

I put the oven doors glass and shelve thingys into soak before i left home this morning so hopefully somebody remembers to take them out and they're all back nice and clean when i get home - wouldn't bet on it though!

Hope the treatment goes as well as possible today Toots !

Hugs and *neccessary vibes* to all other flyladies and flygents!

I'm not a caravaner but maybe i can help, i have a window which goes below my floor in my living room, all sorts of crap ends up down there! Depends how wide the gap is , but i use either the pole from my mop or a bit of wood with doubled over duct tape or extra strong parcel tape etc to try and stick to the stuff that has fallen.

:xmastree: Could you re-add me please! I have been AWOL for several months. Some may remember me and my waffle, other lucky ones wont :p.

I started back at work in September doing 30hrs per week. There is me, DH, DD1 (6) and DD2 (4) - both now at school. I have to admit I have just been muddling through the best way I can but have been more and more unhappy with home life but love my job. Anyhow after a lot of soul searching I have decided to leave the job I love inorder to get my life back on track so I start a 20hr a week job in May meaning the girls dont have to go to after school club. Also the new job is only 5 or so mins drive away so will save an hours travel time a day. Hats off to all you full time ladies that work and manage everything else.

So far this morning I have:-

    Scrubbed the kitchen
    Make pot of coffee

    To do list:

Ironing (including all school uniform stuff for next week)
    Mow front lawn
Tidy lounge - currently covered in My little ponies, polly pockets and easter egg wrappers:eek:
    Scrub bathroom
    Take empties to bottle bank
Take unwanted clothes/shoes to clothes bank
    Prep salad stuff for tea
    Make bread rolls

Needless to say i am not at work today.

Can I just say it is lovely to see that this thread has remained the huge source of support and friendly place it always was :A.

    Good morning!
Had a lovely day out yesterday with my chums!
Cally and Pigpen, that hop pillow looked fab on that Grow Your Own Drugs (plus you can dream about James Wong if the pillow works!) The people who tested it had really good results and weren’t up most of the night reading their books like before.
Ooohh yes, he's lovely! I have a lavender hedge in my front garden so I'm going to have a go at making one when it flowers in the summer. I'm wanting to try the bath bombs as well.

It's horrible isn't it Crafty my kitchen window looks like it's steamed up but it's not, I feel like I should be hiding in a church waiting for ghost pirates to get me.

    Captain Jack Sparrow??!!;)

Tag – good shopping hints, thanks. I'm going to use those! I discovered yesterday that I can join Costco as I work in education. My friend is a member & we go for a wander round every so often. You have to buy in bulk though, really, to get the savings & that'd mean forking out a lot to start with. Have to give it some thought.

Rosepink – Sorry to hear your problems, hope you get some peace of mind soon. I had some Cognitive Behaviour Therapy a few years ago, mainly for anxiety & the counsellor recommended a book - Feeling Good Handbook by Dr. David Burns. It has exercises you work through rating your feelings like serena suggested & I found it helped stop my mind racing & put my thoughts on a more logical path! I still use it from time to time now. I'd ask your Doc though, before you try anything like that, I wouldn't want to recommend the wrong thing!

Right, off to fly! WM is on, but it is still raining  It's supposed to be better later I think.
Hope everyone has a good day!
