Have 6 days before back at school next Monday and I want to make the best use of the time and not waste it ....I know, so why am I on here?
Have started to make the fabric swags [don't really know how to describe them] for my conservatory ceiling. It keeps some of the sun off it in the heat of the summer. So my first task today is to finish them , then I can get Harry to put them up tonight.

Need to go and get some bits from Sains and some treats for my mum. She found herself allergic to some hair dye, got some cream from the doc that she was also allergic to, and now is covered with a red rash. She is feeling very sorry for her self and I think also a little afraid. She won't go and get any more medical advice. She has always been an active woman and also is quite concerned with her looks. She is 72 and I think afraid of being seen as a little old lady. Not quite sure what to get her besides flowers ,,,,so any suggestions?
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

Hugs Rosepink, there is always someone on here to listen, dont worry about offloading we all do it from time to time. I've never suffered from depression so have no advice to give just wanted you to know that someone was here for you.

Hugs to you all especially Rosepink, Jill and Pigpen (though I know piggers will probably throw something at me for being nice!).

I'm not doing the lists this week as it's still the school holidays and i'm doing stuff as and when it needs doing and having a few days out instead. Today we're having a chilling day - well the children are!!! So far i've done 6 loads of washing, only three more to do! Luckily it's a nice day so i've some drying on the whirly gig outside. I've also mowed the back lawn.

I'm in the mood for a massive declutter (again!!). Living in a caravan is fab as you have to have the bare minimum. So, I want to declutter 50 things a day during the holiday - however, these 50 things actually have to leave the house via the charity shop, being given away or in the bin!!!

Jill - hope you have a good time at I***, IK**, IK*A, *KEA....it's no good, I still can't say it!!!:rotfl:It's hard to believe that this time last year I was being a right royal pain in the bum with my wrist....now i'm just a right royal pain in the bum (before someone else says it!!).:D

Right, off to declutter. I'll be back when 50 things are done xx

They are all ready coats and everything.. I need a shower and to go to shop and I can't do either until he has gone with them

Whoever has yours has mine too and I want it back!

Just having lunch as I was hungry but don't actually want it now - most odd. When my hand is bad I do feel quite ill (it is a virus) for a couple of days so maybe that is it.

Going to do 15 minutes in the kitchen and write a short list and then I need to pop out to run some errands in the car now Mum has DS3.

    Afternoon all

If we're getting rid of things, I've got two cats who are always on the wrong side of the door......

One load of washing done, hung out, rained on, back in and draped round indoors.

I've done the living room today. I damp wiped it yesterday so I just had to dust today and I vacuumed right through downstairs. Vacuumed the stairs and dusted the edges/skirtings. Computer desk done too. I cleaned the cat snot off the window last night (inside and out). I washed a couple of throws yesterday so they are all clean too.

Sorted out a couple more drawers in the kitchen. I did the cutlery drawer yesterday, but I sorted out three more today. Not much to throw away (I think I've decluttered most things by now) but a few out of date timetables and some takeaway menus (because we never have takeaway anyway, too dear).

I also moved books about upstairs. I have a load that DD1 has given me to read so they are now in the bottom of the wardrobe where they will gradually be passed on as they are read, and the books that I am keeping are in the little bedroom on a shelf. I feel better knowing that in the end the bottom of the wardrobe will be empty again.

Dinner is cooking, off to read some more posts. Hope everyone's OK.

    Hi everyone,
just a quick post before I get ready to go for the next treatment - have made some phone calls and we may have a solution to my breathing - will see how it goes today and let you know later - thanks SGT for the suggestion - I am stuck already on E!!!:rotfl:

pigpen - could your Mum stay over one night to let you sleep? Or could hubby come and stay and you go to your Mum's?

soappie - nice to have a back up plan - you seldom need them but its comforting knowing its there. I know you could be very successful in the cookery business!! ;)
dusty that sounds so sore - hope it is easier today
mozzy hugs for DD - hope she gets over it soon
gratefulforhelp - awh poor you - shingles is so nasty!
wendywitch -I know its not the way you would like to go but have you considered a restraining order? hugs for a really bad day and hope its a one off.
rosepink you know we will always listen- i have no idea what you are going through but you seem to have some good ideas about how you want to move on so why dont you get yourself a pretty notebook and write things/feeling/solutions/ideas down and then make it a morning task with your breakfast to read them and remind yourself of what you 'said' and try to find a way forward.
muddbath sounds like a good week ahead - you a pain ...........naw....... well............... never!!!:rotfl:

serena - a magazine/ puzzle book/dvd? hugs for your Mum - she must be feeling quite low with her rash. or what about a nice lipstick?

had to be up bright and early ....not much fun !!! Anyway was up at 6.45 and emptied the bathroom - moved stuff from the hall to make access easier - then did a rescue tidy up and then washed done the walls in the bathrrom before the painter arrived at 8am - I was knackered!!! But good progress is being made - the bathroom has been rubbed down, cracks filled, primed, etc etc - he has gone for lunch but it already looks great!

No flying from the list yet biut will probably do some when I get back all going well.

I am off to eat and get changed before he gets back and then will be away about 2.

    have a good afternoon everybody

hugs to all the poorlies and anybody I have missed
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder
