  • Guilt is a wonderful motivator (tho' obviously would have preferred not to let down a little person) - have just studied a whole weeks worth of stuff in one sitting.

Will now have some lunch then

    HHC at 3?
    I'd rather be watching CSI!

Count me in for the HHC at 3pm as well!

I meant to reply to wendywitch and LilySue to thank you both for your replies about a new cooker on last week's thread. I've seen the comet clearance site before and it was the connection not included that put me off, but really if I am going to save any money I should keep a sharp eye on the auctions.
with regard to cooker colour I am between a rock and a hard place because with white I find fat shows up as big yellowey brown globules and look so ugly, but I can remove them if I really try with a bit of bicarb, with anthracite colour I am unsure whether it will look as ugly or just be better at showing every speck of cat hair or whatever.

  • Count me in for the HHC at 3pm.

Just home from our Easter break so after a swift cuppa I'll be unloading the car, followed by loading the WM!

Lets see how much I can get put away...

I also keep books in the spare half of my bed... there's no room for anyone else in it, so I don't see it as empty space!

I keep a couple of books there too!!

Sorry, not had chance to read the thread. We went to the library this morning then stopped off at MIL's. As they had a viewing on their house I brought my nephew & niece back to mine (IL's were looking after them for the day), so we've had lunch and a play and they've just gone home. They are going to stay at their dad's tonight for the first time since the split at xmas so they are understandably a bit nervous.

Anyway. Got tuna pasta planned for tea...although we have a disctinct lack of tuna in the house so a trip to the shop is needed when DD2 gets out of bed. Think I'll take the opportunity to do a HHI before she gets up. Here's the list so far....
