Have finally found my outside stopcock(thanks to the water company coming and finding it for me) so can now go about re doing my kitchen to give me a little space and get me a hob :T :T

Hi Honey, are you going to try freecycle for your hob? Worth a go, if not, I think Curry's do a sort of seconds website that they sell good stock off at a fraction of the cost... worth a look

    ETA: Just found it https://www.currysauction.co.uk/

Massive Hugs Rosepink - you always sound so chipper in your posts and never show the downside of your life so when you do post, I'm sure no-one minds you offloading... Hope you feel a bit better soon for a while, I'm sure the sun will help a bit - but I think you need to speak to your docs to see what they can do. I know your on AD's but maybe they need to be changed? I'm not totally up on this type of thing but the doc should be, I know when I got that way after I lost my dad they sent me to a councillor, which sort of helped (like downloading on here if you like) so go have a chat with them and see what they can do.

Can you take these clothes back to the shop they brought them from and change them for something else that she does need? shoes, underware, pj's, or if the right kind of shop, something completly different? I'm sure they won't mind you doing that.

ARGH.. and a new battery for the blooming smoke alarm on the landing.. not that I can reach to change it.. but I will find someone who can!! if I have to nip across the road and ask a neighbour!!
Would ExOH (or whatever you have decided on now???) not do it for you when he brings the kiddies back or will taking his clothes be enough?

Tag - just wanted to say, your long post was not in vain, as I have gone off the saving money wagon, so thanks for giving me a nudge in the right direction to get back on it - you do great as I know what it's like to shop around - WELL DONE YOU! :T

OK, I need to haul @ss now as I've got nowhere fast today - have sat up the garage for 3 hours waiting for an MOT to be done, but it passed so that's good... another £45 paid out, no-wonder we're always skint...

    Valli - you have a PM... ;)

OK, off out quickly to get disc for Mum's computer to get it up and running again, then back to get dinner started then get the kitchen done...
I've emptied and re-loaded the DW, eaten a banana and decluttered the worktops so LOADS to do when I get back...

    See you all then x

Turned out to be a HHC after all!

    Here's what's left now:

Magnificent Monday - Kitchen and dining room
    Sweep and mop the floor
    Degunge the fridge!
    Extras
    1. Thoroughly clean the cutlery drawer!
    2. Run the WM's and DW's through a clean cycle
    3. Clean all the filters and door seals etc

    1. Wipe hand rails on stairs
Need to go and bring the washing in before it rains (that'll increase my ironing pile:mad:) then make a start on tea. Decided on chilli so I don't have to go to the shop for tuna to do pasta bake.

(((Rosepink)))...sounds like you may need to revisit your GP. My good friend went off her AD's for a bit when they decided they wanted another baby. Unfortunately she hit rock bottom and unfortunately it took lots of adjustments to her AD's and councelling to get her back on track. I know it wasn't an easy time for her. She had a few 'friends' who made comments such as...'when I was depressed I didn't have all that help...I just had to get on with it. I was furious when I found that out...felt like telling her 'friend' that she was obviously very lucky not to have suffered as badly then. People need to view it more as an illness then something you can just 'snap out of'. Off load here all you like. I know there are a fair few who understand what you're going through.

Well I had a very short nap! I got into bed, lay down and then a friend text to say she was on her way over! I got up again and had a quick whizz round the LR. I didn't get round to it last week so it's a bit dusty and needs hoovering very badly, but I managed to tidy it up quite well. The entire floor was covered in stuff and the two armchairs. I cleared the floor and one armchair, and she sat on the sofa so she had her back to all the washing up in the kitchen! It was a very nice visit, we had a right old moan and put the world to rights and then had a laugh!

Tag, your tips sound great thanks. Can I be your apprentice? I will copy you in every regard that you have mentioned in your wonderful post.

I was wondering how I can make a sanitizing spray? At the mo we use Dettol.
    Welcome back MOAM
Glad you are ok Frodders sorry to hear bout your bad patch this morning, do you know what triggered it off?
Sunnygirl with the flowers, hope the sleepover goes well tonight
Jjef, how very irritating of the PO to shut, especially after a bank holiday
Dusty, I love Next they have lovely stuff!
Flower and Sunnygirl, you’re right I need to see the gp soon if I don’t pick up in a few days. Thank you for your kind words. I go through a phase like this sometimes but it should end soon. I’ve been bad since Saturday so hopefully will be feeling more positive again soon. I think I must be coming out of it because this morning I was convinced I would never feel better again and now I’ve stopped crying and am sure I will be better soon! So I think I’m recovering hopefully! I might try some online CBT, a friend is doing it and she says it’s really helped her. I also wondered if my body is adjusting to the AD’s and they are not making as much of a difference as they used to, but don’t know if that happens!

My boss phoned earlier to ask if I'd like to go on the bank for one of the special care units in the area, so that will be good. Should mean some more hours for me! Not getting much work at the mo.

    See you later xx
