Thanks for the enquires about DD and her leg, she went to the 'ospital and they cut a hole in her plaster, her leg is OK nice and pink, so they think its either the bones starting to knit or she has got something down it which is irritating it....she is home after DGD took her her to Asda shopping, got her one of the mobility carts, she said it was magic, just wished she had a hooter so people would get out of her way!!!

OH has just retired to bed with the first DD for 13 days......I have a VERY Large glass od nicely chilled chardonay at my elbow, after the last 2 weeks I think I deserve it!!!

Macoroni cheese for supper with salad and new spuds......anf may be a drop more wine?????

Good news for both SunnyGirl's dad and also csarina's daughter. So glad for you both.
Older dog has a cushioned bed:D. I've put a pillow in it and one of her usual blankies on top. I thought it would be comfy for her old(er!!) bones but she is highly suspicious of it .
Have put away my mountain of ironing except for my blouses which I'll put upstairs in a mo. Feel very industrious for doing that marathon ironing.
Defrosting some quorn lasagne for tomorrow. Still have loads of salad ingreds to have with that.

Think I'll have a nearly night tonight with my book. Excitement on a Saturday night eh?;)
    Night night all

  • ((((((((((((((( Diva )))))))))))))))))) I really cannot add anything to what everyone else has said. Try to remember it is them who are acting like 2 year olds. You are carrying yourself with honour and dignity. Thank heavens for the Family of the Heart I have in my life. They keep me going. I know that it doesn't lessen the pain from the way they have treated you. I'm sorry you're hurting. xxx

((((((((((((wmf))))))))))))) I found a moving planner when I signed up through a cashback site of £1 for a free registration.:D Since we just found out we're going to be moving, I checked it out and it really is good. Move Me Planner I've found a few more so if you want links, just let me know hun. HTH

((((((((((((((SunnyGirl)))))))))))))) Glad to hear your dad is pain free today. Prayers and gentle hugs to you, your dad and your mum. xxx

Night time here and finally checking in. I managed to get some great double walled boxes from Iceland today to start packing in. The young man that I asked was so lovely and brought them out to me. He then said, let us know when you're ready for more. It's so nice to see young people in a shop that are customer service oriented and polite. :)

I cannot believe we are moving in a bit less than 2 weeks. I guess it wouldn't be old style to dump most everything in a tip and buy new at the new place would it? :rotfl: I have my planner filled out and know what has to be done when.

We're eating from the freezer and cupboards until we move. I don't mind moving tins and packages however no way on trying to moved frozens.

DH is working through this weekend so no big Easter meal here. Something from the freezer or maybe a quiche for tea tomorrow.

I hope everyone who celebrates it has a lovely Easter tomorrow. I'll try to check in between the last of the decluttering and packing.

Many gentle hugs and good thoughts to all.

    Peyton xx
