Really interesting. Have checked out both sites, the paid to shop site seems fab as it has got lots of really good stuff on money back sites (which I expected from the title!) but also really great info on Tesco and a really chatty forum, seems a good laugh - good spot OP!:T . MIght be able to make as many points as you madwelshwoman!!!!! Have joined now!

Hi all,

I know this has been raised before, but I can't find the original thread having just got back from my hols.

Has anyone had trouble banking the "extra" clubcard ecoupons from their clubcard statements? I've tried a few times and know I qualify for the veg/dairy products, etc., but they're not accepted. Anyone resolved this problem?

I'm dubious about ringing them in case I'm quizzed about using the codes from here!

I have been sent an e-voucher in the last clubcard mailing but no longer want to use it online, prefer to shop instore. I have changed my preferences so that I now get normal vouchers. However is there anything I can do with this voucher, can I get it put back onto my card? I have tried to use it in-store but obviously they will not accept it. I don't want to just chuck it in the bin!

Does anyone know how often new codes get released? I've had real trouble with the last few codes - XXRPJD XXT696 XXPFWT XXD4G2 and XXTRLM. I've just started banking extra points codes and was just getting into the swing of it all and then all of a sudden the codes dont work for me. Does anyone know why this might be?

And, some people have said that they've got many virtual accounts. Is this with the same clubcard or completely new details?

No, unless you keep your own record there isn't really any way.

If you join the paid to shop website they do have some really useful spreadsheets on there that you can download for free. They are designed by some of the members themselves esp for recording and tracking Tesco codes both for points and money off vouchers.

The code should get mentioned on your emials, but that doesn't normally say you have used xx-####, they just tell you you used a code for 750 points on ####. Whereas a spreadsheet often has a section where you can enter the codes and then see which account has used them.

Always use a different virtual or plastic clubcard as this way you can join all the Tesco clubs again, get to use the Ecodes on each virtual account, and get seperate statements with points vouchers to use for each card.

That is why the advice on the unoffical Tesco sites is to bank any code that is realeased ASAP. Often a code seems to come out and have a few days when everyone can use it, but then it somehow is stopped by Tesco.

A banked code still works at the moment even when no-one else is able to use it unless they have received it personally.

Whew, anything else honey... I'm always on the PTS site, but only check here mornings and evenings

Thats fantastic. Like I said I've only just got into this e ocdes thingy and want to save extra points for christmas or maybe even a holiday. I have bookedmarked the link you have left and I have also done so for a few others.
