  • I would think you are right.

Just set him up totally seperate and get him a virtual clubcard. Then you'll get double statements so double points vouchers... You only need a different email address and you can set up a new account.

Plus each clubcard account can join the mailing clubs, wine, baby, food, healthy and clothes vouchers then - but not if you are joined to the same clubcard.

Right so I can't pool the points ? Not sure if that's what I want then, thought I'd save for a new bathroom.

You just get the vouchers from both clubcard accounts sent to you and exchange them for the deals vouchers (new bathroom or whatever you want). You can then take the deal vouchers along to mfi or wherever you get the bathroom from. I would be really surprised if they even notice they are from different accounts, especially if they are the same surname?

Ooooh - hasn't MFI just been sold? Could be interesting!!

By the way - we took our vouchers and decided to spend them on a bathroom in MFI - be warned that, even if the actual price of the bathroom looks good they add a lot on for installation - we'd selected a bathroom/shower, etc, was going to cost just under £2000 in total - £980 of that was installation. And THEN the installation guy came out to look at it and said it would cost at least £300 more than that because they don't include electrics and plumbing in that price, or any chasing in of pipes, etc. Plus, if you're having electrics done you apparently have to have some inspector check the job at another £50  We ended up cancelling ours (after spending 3 hours in the shop with two bored kids sorting it all out - what a waste of time).

do you need any points on your virtual account before they send out extra point coupons

    Minimum 150 points, I believe.
  • Whats a virtual account? Dont you need a real club card form picked up from a store to register for points online?

You can still add the converted deals vouchers together, just register in the same surname to be absolutely sure. For instance my Mfi bathroom and cloakroom is coming Monday and my deals vouchers to pay for it are came from 6 different online/offline clubcard accounts. Mfi have taken vouchers in different surnames as well for some of my friends onthe PTS site. Have a look at my post 710 for ideas to collect points. Also there is a huge amount of information on using Tesco MFI vouchers in the MFI sticky on the Paid to shop site.

Nope you don't need to fill a paper form in, just sign up online again with a new email and then tick the box to say that you don't have a clubcard. If you have already linked a plastic card to an online account, stop using it and send off fro a new plastic one that will be seperate from your online account.

I'm not sure about that, I know that you normally need 150 points to get vouchers.. Did you know that if you send off for a new paper card you get a 150 bonus with the first statement plus some points vouchers...
