  • Thanks Madwelshwoman for your info, I have just been trying to register my other half with virtual club card accounts. One of your other pieces of info about keeping track of points on a spreadsheet has highlighted my club card number and confused me (doesnt take much). On my statement it says my club card number is one number and on my key fob its another. Is this the account number on the statement and my key fob the club card number?

    Thanks again ;)
  • Hi there - my first post ! :j

How many codes can be used at one time? I'm pretty sure only one XX code can, but can I also use other codes ie those starting with PX, G6, 4G etc. Someone posted some codes on another thread - for example PXPD-FBZY-QRK4 if you spend £2 on household products. There are several like this - can I just add them on at the end?
    Thanks !
  • I think you can use others that start differently as these are the ones that are sent in your statements that are for maybe 20 extra points etc.
  • Hi Chunkee,

you may very well find that somehow with registering for clubs, online, etc that you have gained a clubcard number and statement that you knew nothing about... I had 2 extra statements last time that i didn't expect...nice bonus through.

Also when you send off a paper card the clubcard that you gain is a different number. I would think that your key fob is still valid, and you have an extra account. Unless you sent a temporary card request off and ticked the replacement card box, then your keyfob points will transfer to that account and you should evntually get replacement cards and fobs through.

You can't use 2 XX codes together, but can use diferent codes. I am going to try the extra 20 pointers myself as Billy on the Paid to Shop site has just posted some interesting info on them... I always thought that they were targetted codes..

  • Hi Craftingqueen, I'm just having the same problem and have posted this on another website. I have registered my other half and we have had the confirmation email but then when I try to log on it says that I have to register. I'm confused
  • Aha, I hope this can help. I was just told that deleting my cookies may work, so I did it and it did work.

You go to tools, internet options and then delete.

You can still add the converted deals vouchers together, just register in the same surname to be absolutely sure. For instance my Mfi bathroom and cloakroom is coming Monday and my deals vouchers to pay for it are came from 6 different online/offline clubcard accounts. Mfi have taken vouchers in different surnames as well for some of my friends onthe PTS site. Have a look at my post 710 for ideas to collect points. Also there is a huge amount of information on using Tesco MFI vouchers in the MFI sticky on the Paid to shop site.

Thanks, different surnames I'm afraid. Anyway I will forget the bathroom and use towards a Virgin Holiday - I guess they would want the same surname. I'll read the posts you suggest and have a look at that website.

Nope you don't need to fill a paper form in, just sign up online again with a new email and then tick the box to say that you don't have a clubcard. If you have already linked a plastic card to an online account, stop using it and send off fro a new plastic one that will be seperate from your online account.

I'm not sure about that, I know that you normally need 150 points to get vouchers.. Did you know that if you send off for a new paper card you get a 150 bonus with the first statement plus some points vouchers...

Just a bit confused about paper and plastic cc's - why do you send off for a paper one ? Thanks for all your advice it's very useful.

  • You don't need a clubcard at all to shop on line , the pc will make one up for you. Basically you need a plastic real Clubcard to use instore with Tescos. To get one of these you need to send off a paper temporary card application form.

Every clubcard then can recieve a statement as long as you can get 150 points on it. And you can also send off forms to join the bonus points clubs then as well...

Its very handy to have a few different plastic cards that you just use occasionally, when you bring out a plastic card that hasn't been shopping for a few weeks you may get a till spit for extra points. You can then either use it yourself, swap it on PTS or LP, or ebay it.. (hopefully if you swap on an unoffical Tesco forum I may see one i could use.. lol.)

Its also a lot easier to keep track of what points have credited if you seperate your online and offline purchases. There are some free Tesco points spreadsheets on the PTS site.

Did that make more sense, I have had a glass of wine or 3 thanks to Mr T and his wine points...
