Based on the recent experiences of many of us on here, you'll be lucky to get the points once, never mind several times. :mad:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

God Knows what's going on with Tesco at the moment. I've shopped with Tesco.com for ages, basically for the clubcard points and now as we all know they've completely dried up. I've therefore been going to the store instead, if nothing else to get some till spits and the only ones I'm getting are £12.00 off a £60.00 spend which must be used within a 10 day period. After speaking to various friends they are getting similar vouchers based upon their usual spending patterns i.e. £4 off a £20 spend or £6.00 off a £40 spend. These offers are obviously too good to miss even though I'd much prefer points but they're not going to last forever and Tesco really must have noticed the drop in internet orders. Anyway, if this continues I'm going to shop at Sainsburys on my way home from work, what do I do? I'm an internet shopper for Sainsbury's to You and despite a 10% staff discount it's been more sense to shop at Tesco for the points towards holidays, however, not anymore. Adios Tesco.0

A more positive note.
had two deliveries from tesco recently, unfortunately they had made a minor mistake on both, just silly things, but still made the effort to phone up. On the second occasion, I gave the old 'why should I shop with you again, when Sainsbury's is my local'. They gave me a refund of mistakes, plus a £3 off my next delivery, and then the next day another £10 off my next £75 order.
It pays to complain! I prefer to speak to people over the phone now, letters and emails get easily ignored, and need chasing up. Get on the phone, get a name, and if necessary a line manager/supervisor. Oh, and I never get angry - these poor folks are only doing their job.
Lastly, I've found my wifes baby related magazines (mother and baby etc) a good source of Tesco codes. When I next get one, I'll post it (on the codes forum, of course):money: [STRIKE]Mortgage: July01=62700; Apr07=~15000[/STRIKE]
Mortgage free date: 2037... we've moved house to somewhere we can't afford...
:wave:If someone helps, say thanks, doesn't take much effort really0 -
I collected the Clubcard points.
You had me addicted.
I spent more each week to bring my bill upto the value required for bonus points.
I bought a fridge from Tesco Electrical for £60, then found the same item on sale in a store for £40.
Now there are no bonus Clubcard codes.
This week I shopped at ASDA.
I saved money.
I will leave my clubcard in the car because the petrol is still the cheapest, but my groceries will now come from ASDA.
Money-saving, but not as we know it!!!0 -
I joined Tesco homephone in Feb 2006 just so I could get the 2000 points that they were offering at the time. I have never had these points credited to my account. I contacted them a few days ago and they have asked me to wait and check my next clubcard statement to ensure that they are not there. I already know that! Has anyone else had these points credited to their account?0

Yes, I got my first quarterly on line bill, the payment went out of my account (very pleased as way cheaper for calls than BT, incidentally) and I got 2000 points about 2 weeks later. I also used an electrical code for 1000 and it took about 3 weeks after delivery for those to be credited.0 -
Hi,
I'm collecting clubcard points to save for a holiday.
When I recieve the Tesco clubcard vouchers in the post, should I just tear them up and the points will stay on my online balance? Or do I need to request online coupons which presumably don't expire?
Help, I don't want to recieve vouchers in the post which I have to use on my shopping.
Many thanks.0
