I used a code back in April, for 1000 extra points on a £50 shop but am still waiting for the points to be added to my account. I emailed Tesco when the points were not included in my last statement, to be told they would be added in time for the next one.
This morning we have had a further delivery and used another code for 1000 CC points on a £50 shop. The coupon is showing on the receipt, but the points aren't.
Any ideas?
This morning I received a letter from Tesco's Customer Service Manager offering to pay my County Court claim against them in regard to the 1,200 Bonus Wine Points. I always knew they didn't have a leg to stand on, as they were in clear breach of contract over the Terms and Conditions of the points code which stated that points would be credited in the May Clubcard mailing.
I made the claim for £48 a couple of weeks ago - this is the amount the points would have been worth against the cost of my summer holiday.
I would urge anyone in the same position to take the same action, and I know there are hundreds or possibly thousands of other customers in the same position. It is completely unacceptable that we should be expected to wait over six months to receive these points, thus losing the chance to redeem them for summer activities/holidays. There's also no guarantee that Tesco will keep their promise to credit the points in August, either - many posts on this forum have pointed out that this fiasco happened last year and it took nearly a whole year and numerous complaints until some people got their points.
It's very easy indeed to make the claim using MoneyClaim.gov.uk, and will cost you a £30 court fee which Tesco will have to pay you back on top of the £48. I can supply you with the same text that I used for my claim as it clearly did the trick. Given the precedent that has now been established it is virtually certain that Tesco will settle all claims brought against them in respect of this matter.
All that I would suggest is make sure you still have the original voucher they sent out in March which states on the back "Points from extra points coupons will appear on your next statement". This is your Ace of Spades, as it were.
It's time we all stood up for ourselves in the face of Tesco's arrogance and shabby customer services. If we don't take any action then we can't really complain when Tesco trample all over us and treat us like fools.0 -
Evening
I made a wine order recently for delivery today. Since my order, Tesco introduced a discount of 15% extra if you order 6 bottles or more (a national offer promoted both instore and on the web).
As my order arrived today during the offer, should my wine have been discounted. ie Should I pay the price when I ordered it or the price on the day of delivery??
Price when ordered and also price when delivered today
1 x Echo Falls Chardonnay 75cl 6 75cl
£19.78 (1 @ £19.78 each)
2 x Tesco Simply Tempranillo 75cl 6 75cl
£33.98 (2 @ £16.99 each)
===================================================
Subtotal of all items: £53.76
Delivery Charge: £5.00
Subtotal before discounts & vouchers: £58.76
Price today available instore and on internet
Product description Total price
1 x Echo Falls Chardonnay 75cl 6|75cl £16.65
2 x Tesco Simply Tempranillo 75cl 6|75cl £28.60
Delivery charge £5.00
Subtotal £50.25
I rang Tesco's just now and they said that I should have entered some code to get the discount (which I know is wrong). How do I proceed to reclaim the difference of £8.51?
Can I take it back to my local Tesco get a credit then rebuy it at the cheaper price.

My 1200 points from my April order have been credited in the last day or so.
I wonder how long we will wait for the points from recent orders :mad:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Anyone else found that, since Tesco changed their web site, they've been unable to bank any codes? It's probably got nothing to do with it but, each time I try to bank a code now, I get some sort of message up saying it's been used the maximum amount of times, etc., etc. Never used to have this problem and have now had to do two shops without being able to use any codes.:eek:Wins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0

There are just 2 slots booked for the whole of the next 7 days!! I think Tesco will soon relaise we ain't gonna shop online if there are no incentives. £5 off £50 is no incentive for me I am afriad and never use these now. Watch this space. Tesco will make sure they hold onto their customers and not send them elsewhere so I am sure we will not be waiting long. Good spot qwerty we need more info on the up to date codes and the other one has fallen well behind. If no-one shops online with them they will soon bring the vouchers back as they NEED our custom and they will realise the difference it has made. It will be good if they bring new incentives though. Remember the days when you could buy something and get extra points instore.....
Perhaps someone can past these comments onto Tesco as I've stopped shopping online with them!
My normal spend was £100 a week and now I go to Asda!
Only shopped with Tesco for the points, someone in their marketing needs a shove up the backside when they realise that their online customers have gone to the opposition!COMPERKING
