has anybody got their 1200 points from the wine club from a few months back? I know that loads of people had a problem with this and when I rang Tesco they said that they would be on the next statement (August?) - was just wonderimg if anybody got a different response?

I understand that wine codes are only added at the end of the promotion, regardless of when you made your purchase. There is always frustration with this, why they just can't use the same logic as the grocery department baffles many of us!

hi all, an update on my order - they have cancelled the order and can't tell me what is going to happen about the points!! they just called me to ask where i got the points, so i said ebay (couldn't think of anything else on the spot, i couldn't remember where the seller lived etc. so couldn't pretend it was a relative). it's been referred to their ebay abuse team, something like that.

if i had asked the seller to send off their points and get the 5 visit pass for me that would have been fine because the 5 visit pass doesn't come their name on.

i have probably lost the money i paid now, and the seller might get into trouble.

forgot to say it definitely worked for me before, using points codes belonging to my family members, either this is a new thing, the checking, or perhaps they noticed the discrepancy because the seller doesn't live in my town, so it looks more obvious, the family member live in ym town.

she says when they process the orders it flashes up surname and postcode of who the vouchers belong to.

Tesco don't seem to have any new codes out there. Maybe they are not doing them anymore. Damn. They are the only ones who deliver out here so guess I'll have to get my bum up the supermarket. No point in paying £6 for delivery when you only get double points (75p - or 3.50 in deals) It isn't worth it as I end up buying stuff I don't need to bump the order value up.

I have no food in the house as have been waiting for new codes as I wanted the ones for deals not money off. I guess I'll have to make sure I spend the ones I have wisely.

Do the codes only apply to the figure you actually pay?

In other words if when I go to checkout total is £55 but when offers come off the figure I actually pay is £49, does a £5 off when you spend £50 code still apply?

Thanks in advance. Am new to all this. Never done an online shop before!

It depends, technically the min spend is based on the final amount you pay, before delivery, but I have got it to work with money off codes (not extra points codes though).

    Hello,
I've learnt alot from this thread, thanks to all the contributors. :-)
What I'm wondering is, do I need to sign up to the mailings from food club, wine club and healthy living club in order to have online codes honoured by Tesco? I made an order the other day and used a code, I hope I recieve the points ok.
    Thanks for your help.
