For the last 2 times I used a voucher for wine, the points didnt show on the invoice.I'm hoping they get added on my next statement. Is that the normal thing?

When I used the codes last year there was a problem getting them added. When I phoned they said they needed to see proof of the code and that I had to send it to them, but I got it off here so couldn't, but emailed them and the poinrs were added. Also last year the wine invoices showed that there had been a problem with the code and that it could not be used and so didn't show as the usual -0.01 on the invoice.

This time round for the 1200 pointers thay have showed as -0.01 on the invoice, and when I emailed Tesco they assured me that the voucher had been accepted and that points would be included inthe May mailing. :T

    So fingers crossed :o

From my experience (as set out in different posts on this thread), they give you this line just to get you off the phone. I have had the very same excuse given to me, and believe me, it just did not happen. I also had the 0.01 show up on my two invoices - but I did not get the points, and whats more, had to fight tooth and nail to get them.

I've seen a code for dvd rental somewhere giving 1000 points (I think) I wrote it down but not sure whether it's only if you buy a gift subscription - anybody know what I'm talking about?

I think the person putting the images on Tesco.com Grocery section is being made redundant or something and is trying to get their own back on their bosses. Hope I get the Pull ups instead of the wine (mind you I need the wine with my two) and malt wheats has a picture of dental floss!! Have a scoot around and loads of items with the images showing other items!! Sadly, gave me a chuckle this evening!!

Do any of you have a separate clubcard account for your partner and if so how do you pool points for deals? I am saving for a holiday but it wouldn't help if I can't use both deals vouchers on the same booking.
    Thanks Flo
  • Hi

Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere - I've had a quick look and can't find anything but I must admit I haven't looked at every post!

I did an online grocery shop yesterday, using a code which offered 500 extra points when you spend £50. Spent well over £50, but several expensive items were out of stock, which took the total to £49.82, so I was told that the code wasn't valid. Have emailed to complain but it's like talking to a brick wall. I'm really annoyed as not only have I had to make a special trip to the shops to buy the stuff that Tesco couldn't supply (nappies - can't exactly manage without them!), but I've also been penalised for their crap stock control!

Has this happened to anyone else? Did you have more luck in getting them to honour the code than I'm having?

Phone up they seem to be more helpful over the phone.
  • Sorry if this has been discussed already, I have tried to look but cant see it anywhere.

I have been using Tesco codes for the last 12 months or so for my grocery shopping but am thinking of changing from using codes for money off (usually £10 off £75 spend) to using the bonus points codes i.e. 1000 points for £75 spend or whatever. The plan is to use this towards a holiday but my question is:

Do tesco place any limits on this or the holiday company itself? Am I in theory able to pay for the entire holiday with tesco codes?

Cheers in advance for any help.
