Tesco Codes - Discussion Thread

Hi smartsaver
Where would I look to see if the points had been added? I can check my 'clubcard points total' on their website, but it doesn't break it down into where the points have come from, if you see what I mean.
As we have their credit card, as well as numerous other things with them, I wouldn't know whether the 500 points were added or not
If there is a way of seeing some sort of 'statement' I'd love to know where

No statement is readily available. I ask for one to be sent once but needed a degree in clubcard points to understand the breakdown

It is just a question of keeping tabs online. Points don't always go on when they say they will.

Just to update, that my husband did phone today, and they attempted to fob him off again and try to get him to phone back tomorrow when a supervisor was there. He pointed out that he'd already been fobbed off once and eventually she said she would add the 500 points 'manually'. Whether or not they get added remains to be seen!

Just had a delivery of wine, but without extra 1200 points added. As the code I used had been sent to me with April's wine club magazine I didn't mind phoning to complain.
Was told that the points would be added within 28 days, but as this is after the cut off for the next mailing I said this was not acceptable (cut off is 30th April I was told.)
Therefore agreed to keep a check on my balance & if not added to ring back in 2 weeks for them to be added manually.
I have sent an email to cs confirming this, and will just have to wait & see!

I posted a few weeks ago as I was having similar problems with getting my wine codes posted. Well the good news is, I got the most brilliant customer services person and he came back off holiday, saw the codes hadn't been added and did it manually. Meaning my tesco points are now at 14,000!! (when he was away, I rang clubcard who said "you have to wait until the day before the cut-off to get them added" and was really rude to me).

The man who helped me was called George and was in the wine warehouse in Dundee (option two off the CS helpline). A seriously nice guy too.

I used all the voucher codes I received with my food, wine and healthy eating club mailings which gave me 1000/500/200/100 points each time I bought my groceries or wine. I also have a tesco credit card which we use for absolutely everything including some windows we had fitted.

My OH wanted to buy a new TV, and so he found the one he wanted at tesco, i paid on my CC (meaning a 1.5 each pound spent) and we also had a double points coupon that came with my wine club mailing. We also now drive to work and so I will only let us fill up the car at tesco.

So I look for each and every opportunity to get points. I must add, my golden rule is that I dont spend anything unless I would have spent it anyway - eg. I didnt get any of the IPOD nanos just for the 999 points, even though I was sorely tempted! I couldnt be bothered with the hassle of flogging them on ebay!

Blimey, and I thought I was doing well with 110,500 despite doing all that you say you do.

Incidentally, when was the last time anyone received their Wine and Healthy Eating mailings? I received my Kids Club (the penultimate apparently) and Food mailings about 1-2 months ago, but it's ages since I received the others.

I had a wine mailing at the beginning of March and healthy eating around the same time.
