My friend told me about a new card launching in August, according to their site, https://www.bluelightcard.co.uk. Its says that you can receive discounts at restaurants and shops ect with their card. Their site isn't quite complete yet but check it out.0

Are there any discounts for Playworkers who isw not employed in a Council run scheme but a private scheme.
Any discounts for Interpreters/translators working with agenices that are profit and non-profit(i.e. charities).
Any discounts for Speech Therapists too.

Bit of an old thread but am relatively new to the fuzz and here's what I've learnt so far.
Dominos, Pizza Hut, Frankie and Benny's, Nandos 20% off
Kfc 20% at unfranchised stores.
Subway 999 deal: foot long sub and a drink for the price of a 6".
20% discount and various offers at the Slug and Lettuce.
20% off at Pesto and Pizza Express.
10% discount at Famous Army Stores (FAS)
There are also discounts ONLY if you are a member of the Sports and Social club which include things like 10% discount at VUE cinemas and discounted Alton Towers tickets.0 -
I wonder if these "job discounts" still works. I am a nurse and oftentimes spends a lot at Clapham restaurants for some relaxing dinner with my buddies. A little discount is nice to have.0

The Blue Light Card gives discounts to emergency service workers and a few other government departments. The card costs £5 for 5 years.
Civil Servants can also join the CSSC. There's a small monthly fee, but you get free entry into English Heritage sites, discounted gym memberships and gift cards for some major stores at up to 10% off!
