  • Mooki - your comment about the men being afraid you#d give birth by the desks made me chuckle!

Good luck for his interview - that'll be interesting being your OH's boss! Will he be a direct report? I don't think I'd like to manage mine, he's v good at his job and fiercely independent - I don't think he'd be that easy to manage

  • jillie - i think you usually buy them separately (at least that's the way it works in john lewis so it must be true lol!)

Jillie, you don't usually get the stands if you buy a new basket... But most people get rid of both together so you could always look for second hand...

Tesco just delivered my shopping... I don't mind substitutions, but it would be nice if they could substitute with other items on offer if the original item is... And was it you Sami who was complaining about the meat the choose? I put down 2 packs of meat for a fiver each... 1 lamb chops for sunday dinner and 1 steak for when Aimee's at my Mums... We have £8 worth of steak for just the 2 of us and £3 worth of lamb for all 3 of us!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

just wondered cos i see lots of baskets and then rocking stands but no normal stands.
would it be ok to put moses basket into cot at nightime and on a couch during day?? being a bit tight but cant justify in my head paying £20 for a stand!

    Jillie - quico 4% for kiddicare ;)
Yes in most cases you buy a stand separate from moses as there are diff tyes/quality of stand ie rocking, fixed etc
not used a bath support IMHO they are unnecessary coz I doubt you would ever let go of bubba anyway
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

  • mollythewestie - We went to kiddicare last week as we were up that way for the scan. I must admit I found that seeing everything in one place was a HUGE help and there was plenty of choice.

Although we didn't buy anything, DH took piccies on his phone of everything that we wanted with the idea of price checking everything online and getting quidco / free delivery etc rather than carting it all the way back to Cardiff!

Actually what the bosses apparently said (sorry if TMI but I wasnt the one to say it) was they had visions of finding the placenta and loads of blood between their desks.

Yes, I am afraid he will be directly reporting to me and I will also have to train him. My hubby is as stubborn as they come but he knows I know my job so I think he would behave. I think he is hoping that my bossiness will not continue once we get home though (even though he knows I really wear the trousers in our house, he doesnt like to admit it!!)
