Mrs T - can see your point and I like your way of compromising on your godparently duties! Good for you to have your pagan ceremony too. I can imagine it's difficult to do things in the face of other people's discomfort or disapproval. I guess we're just lucky insofar as we haven't had to face difficult situations like that, DH and I being of the same mind on religion and the parentals being very much hands off.
Can't believe am finally at scan day - just wish it was this morning. I doubt whether I'll get much productive work done, even though am up against a huge deadline!MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!

Good luck everyone who's getting scans today, and also to code-a-holic. I can't believe you're calm enough to be sitting at the computer. I'm sure I'll be bouncing off the walls!Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Greent - have just been catching up... this thread moves so fast it's easy to miss the really important stuff. Am so so sorry you're going through this.... Are you getting any support and looking after - sounds like (quite apart from the massive emotional side of things) you also need someone to look after your (and Bubs) physical wellbeing.
Huge hugs - I know that doesn't really help but it's all we can doMFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!

A gogo. Then ran downstairs screaming that it was bleeding.... like duh! I have always told him not to play with it cos it'll fall off.... but do they listen? :rotfl:
Tara, nice healing vibes for your DD.
OMG!!!!!!
I'm a girlie (obviously!) but the thought of that still brings tears to my eyes. Ouch, Ouch, Ouch.

as far as I'm aware everyone sees a MW after the scan, don't remember anyone on here saying diff..
I'll blame your pregnancy brain then cos I definitely said we don't see them round hereIt was several weeks after the 12 week scan that I saw a MW - definitely didn't see one at the hospital. Saw a consultant after my 20 week scan but that was ONLY because I was referred as I'd had colposcopy and already had an appointment with the consultant when I booked my 20 week scan so as it's quite a drive they managed to book them 90 minutes apart to save me driving back and forth
After the 12 week scan I THINK it was at my 16 week check I next saw a MW...DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

I didn't see a MW after my scan either. I'm off to see her today, actually so ten days after it. Had already had my bloods etc though so I guess will go through the results of those today if anything has shown off.
Currently luxuriating on the sofa as today is my hard earned day off. Have promised to sort out the garage in anticipation of Sunday's carboot but I so cannot be bothered. I will do it later though as I have a promise of a trip to the Asda baby event this evening so need to make some space!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

I'm a sh1tt1ng myself now! Hardly got any sleep through worry, I don't know why and reading back thru the best wishes for scans is bringing a tear to my eye. It could be due to the number of losses on here recently.
I think I'm worried because of my fall on Sunday (silly I know) and just frightened that something will go wrong. I am 90% positive I can feel baby moving about but then I manage to talk myself into thinking it's just wind!
I was OK until last night when it suddenly dawned on me scan was right around the corner. I wish I'd booked a morning scan not 3.20pm!!

I didn't see a MW after 12 week scan and I don't expect to see one today as no-one told me that I would. Last saw her at booking in 8 weeks, will next see her at 22 weeks.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
