_pale_ what did he put up there?????

A gogo. Then ran downstairs screaming that it was bleeding.... like duh! I have always told him not to play with it cos it'll fall off.... but do they listen? :rotfl:

Tara, nice healing vibes for your DD.

Just had a bath and while I was in there I was poking my belly. I found a weird lump which I am assuming is just a fatty deposit or strange bit of ligament (it had no pulse so not an artery) but it was about 2cm long and felt very much like a tube.... I wonder if my minera has turned up? *shudder* doubt it, but still, that's what popped into my head!

On the other hand if you mix some bio oil into a bottle of sanctuary moisture spray it goes even more lush!

Just popping back in again.. Grr, hate not being able to keep up with everyone properly, but I feel I have to give my laptop to OH as he's doing so well with staying with my parents! :o Using my mum's now..

Hugs to all who need or want them xx

Just remembered I've got an app with midwife tomorrow  First AntiD jab (of this pregnancy anyway) and blood tests for iron levels, I think. What else do they do at the 28wk app?

Oh, just found this again - explains what happens when. Shelvis very usefully posted it a while ago :D

Tonight's question from me.. what other kit do I need for breastfeeding/expressing, assuming I can do it? I only have the TT CTN micro steriliser (and the bottles which came free with it) and breast pump so far. What do I need in the way of teats and for storing expressed milk?

Also, how long between birth / establishing breastfeeding and being able to give expressed milk from a bottle? I think I've read somewhere about leaving it a few weeks so baby doesn't get confused.. I realise I'm just looking for the textbook answer and I'm sure it's different for everyone.. All advice and help (and links to read later!) gratefully appreciated! :D

Right, I'd best be off to bed.. back to work tomorrow :( Night night all xx

Elle - there is a more official list on page 4 of this  NICE guidlines for Antenatal care

and next bit you don't really need anything else to start off :D
not essential for a while but if you wanted to you could get some milk storage thingys like these
    http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=12592&callingViewName=&langId=-1&catalogId=11051
    http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=857078&callingViewName=&langId=-1&catalogId=11051
or you could get lids for your bottles (you get 1 of these with the breast pump) http://www.tommeetippee.co.uk/product/closer_to_nature_milk_storage_lids_pack_of_3_/

General guide I think is 6weeks to get BFing established before a bottle but I think some have managed earlier than that - Krystal???

The teats that ur bottles have come with will be fine
