Just popping back in again.. Grr, hate not being able to keep up with everyone properly, but I feel I have to give my laptop to OH as he's doing so well with staying with my parents!
Using my mum's now..
Hugs to all who need or want them xx
Just remembered I've got an app with midwife tomorrow  First AntiD jab (of this pregnancy anyway) and blood tests for iron levels, I think. What else do they do at the 28wk app?

Oh, just found this again - explains what happens when. Shelvis very usefully posted it a while ago

Tonight's question from me.. what other kit do I need for breastfeeding/expressing, assuming I can do it? I only have the TT CTN micro steriliser (and the bottles which came free with it) and breast pump so far. What do I need in the way of teats and for storing expressed milk?
Also, how long between birth / establishing breastfeeding and being able to give expressed milk from a bottle? I think I've read somewhere about leaving it a few weeks so baby doesn't get confused..
I realise I'm just looking for the textbook answer and I'm sure it's different for everyone.. All advice and help (and links to read later!) gratefully appreciated!
Right, I'd best be off to bed.. back to work tomorrow
Night night all xx 0 -

and next bit you don't really need anything else to start off
not essential for a while but if you wanted to you could get some milk storage thingys like these
http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=12592&callingViewName=&langId=-1&catalogId=11051
http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=857078&callingViewName=&langId=-1&catalogId=11051
or you could get lids for your bottles (you get 1 of these with the breast pump) http://www.tommeetippee.co.uk/product/closer_to_nature_milk_storage_lids_pack_of_3_/
General guide I think is 6weeks to get BFing established before a bottle but I think some have managed earlier than that - Krystal???
The teats that ur bottles have come with will be fine0 -

Mrs T - can see your point and I like your way of compromising on your godparently duties! Good for you to have your pagan ceremony too. I can imagine it's difficult to do things in the face of other people's discomfort or disapproval. I guess we're just lucky insofar as we haven't had to face difficult situations like that, DH and I being of the same mind on religion and the parentals being very much hands off.
Can't believe am finally at scan day - just wish it was this morning. I doubt whether I'll get much productive work done, even though am up against a huge deadline!MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!

Good luck everyone who's getting scans today, and also to code-a-holic. I can't believe you're calm enough to be sitting at the computer. I'm sure I'll be bouncing off the walls!Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Greent - have just been catching up... this thread moves so fast it's easy to miss the really important stuff. Am so so sorry you're going through this.... Are you getting any support and looking after - sounds like (quite apart from the massive emotional side of things) you also need someone to look after your (and Bubs) physical wellbeing.
Huge hugs - I know that doesn't really help but it's all we can doMFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!
