jillie1974 wrote: »Tigster- the booking in appointment with midwife maybe where they get all your medical history, go through all the blood tests etc. i'm under the Pennine Trust and whilst i saw a midwife at 8 weeks, i had my main appointment at 12 weeks just after i had my scan. some trusts scan you first to make sure all is ok and then go through all the tests, hsistory and current medical status.
Perhaps Manchester Central figure they don't want to waste the community midwives' time until the scan proves there's a viable baby in there? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl::heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

what colour flooring do we think would go nice in a 'yellow' or white nursery?
White cotbed, white and pine coloured wardrobe and changing unit.

she also can't get married in a church unless she's christened (yes I know she can get that done herself when she's older if she wants) but on the other hand she can also opt out later if she so chooses.
It's also partly a compromise - DH wants her to be christened (he doesn't really believe either...) because he wants her to have PROPER Godparents... And ofcourse there is the MIL.... who DOES go to church and sings in a church choir and she very much disapproved of us not getting married in church or at least having a blessing after the civil ceremony.
Don't get me wrong I have nothing against people believing or going to church... just that I'm pagan and I don't go pushing MY beliefs on others and it gets my back up when she tries to force hers on meDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
