I think either this baby is engaging or she's had a growth spurt or something... She's definitely moving less but my foof bone is hurting now! which I guess is because her head has started to drop and engage?
Sometimes just sitting I can feel a sharp pain in my foof bone which definitely wasn't there last week!
Anyway - DH went out to rent the "wanted" game on 360 (rather than buy it lol) and came home with Haagen Daz belgian choc ice cream tub... I love this man - I truely do! :D
We're having pork belly for dinner when it finishes cooking... Bought it to try a while ago and it's been sat in my freezer lol Saw a receipe in the Good Housekeeping magazine so figured today would be a good time to try it :)
If we don't like it then it'll be ham and cheese sandwiches ;)

And for the bad news.. My legs are killing! I think I have "bungalow legs"!! (don't laugh!) :( One of the woman at work warned me I would get them.. I've been living in a bungalow for two years and now I've stayed at home - a house - for a week my legs are killing from climbing the stairs so much!! Doesn't help with still having that leftover-from-cramp feeling and going upstairs to the loo a lot more than I used to.

And in nearly disasterous news, I very nearly lost the two rings that I wear all the time - one of them from OH, individually designed just for me! I'd taken them off when I had a shower, then picked them up and put them in the bag with the trousers I was taking back, intending to put them back on once my hands were dry and I was in the car, going to town. I forgot all about them, took the trousers back, said I didn't need the bag and walked away.. Half an hour later, I realised I'd left the rings in the bag!! Ran back to Next and the girl I spoke to said the bag would have been reused :( Then my mum happened to look at the floor and spotted one right at the front of the counter as the girl looked down and saw the other behind the counter.. Nearly had heart failure from panic and then relief!! OMG OH would have killed me if I'd lost that ring.. it cost a bloody fortune and it's as close to an engagement ring as I'm probably ever going to get! :o

Evening, tried to catch up earlier and friends turned up for coffee so only just done it!

SM, hope things get sorted with your neighbours soon, it can end up being the 1st thing you think about. We have lovely ones to the right but awful on the left. Couldn't cope if we weren't detatched.

Mrs T, hope your not feeling to bad. X

Mrs M, glad your doing ok!

my wonderful husband (you know, it's been over two months since the wedding and I still like saying it)
7 months tomorrow since our wedding and I still love saying it ;)

The very nice colleague of hubbies who bought us some baby things over earlier just rang and asked us if we wanted some garden furniture... She's bringing it next week... Don't know what it's like but still, nice offer!

Just done 2 weeks of meal plans and the tesco shop to go with it... Its funny how things like special offer muffins and cheesecakes can even fall into your virtual trolley...

Tine, you have my sympathies... This baby keeps sticking it's head down then bobbing back out again, but the pain is enough to take my breath away... Not looking forward to when it actually engages!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • EA- thanks for coming on to let us know what happened. So sorry to hear your bad news. Hopefully your holiday will be just what you need. I conceived straight after a miscarriage in January, and I know that several other girls on the TTC thread have done the same as apparently your body is more ready for a pregnancy at that point. Fingers tightly crossed for you and your OH.

Make sure you take it really easy for the next week or so and don't go back to work until you're ready x x
