my wonderful husband (you know, it's been over two months since the wedding and I still like saying it)
7 months tomorrow since our wedding and I still love saying it ;)

The very nice colleague of hubbies who bought us some baby things over earlier just rang and asked us if we wanted some garden furniture... She's bringing it next week... Don't know what it's like but still, nice offer!

Just done 2 weeks of meal plans and the tesco shop to go with it... Its funny how things like special offer muffins and cheesecakes can even fall into your virtual trolley...

Tine, you have my sympathies... This baby keeps sticking it's head down then bobbing back out again, but the pain is enough to take my breath away... Not looking forward to when it actually engages!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • EA- thanks for coming on to let us know what happened. So sorry to hear your bad news. Hopefully your holiday will be just what you need. I conceived straight after a miscarriage in January, and I know that several other girls on the TTC thread have done the same as apparently your body is more ready for a pregnancy at that point. Fingers tightly crossed for you and your OH.

Make sure you take it really easy for the next week or so and don't go back to work until you're ready x x

mm lol these were ones that i "liberated" from work when I thought dd had a uti last month, glad I did, would not have know until I see the mw on Thursday, thought I had morning sickness starting really late or else a dose of the flu!!!
Wonder will the doctor take my word for it in the morning and leave me a prescription or will I have to go down and do a wee for him?

Aaaahhh that makes sense, I was wondering why you would just have some lying around in the house.
I know my doctor would probably not believe me if I told him I knew what was wrong, but your might be nicer !!!

we often get people ringing up asking for abx for uti - some docs will just give a script and others won't. If u tell them u have dipped it etc then u should just get a script. Trimethoprim is always first point of call as it works for most UTI's and is dirt cheap (guess who's allergic to it?! :p) but not sure about in pregnancy. After Trimethoprim it's usually Augmentin, Ciprofloxacin or maybe Amoxicillin - I'm on good ole Amoxicillin - only one more day to go :j

I feel really tired, getting up at 7am probably didn't help - woke early yday as well so no lie-ins for me. OH gets days off in the week so never has to get up early for more than 3 days in a row. Won't get a lie-in now until Saturday and might have visitors so will have to do all my housework!!

Krystal, I need to meal plan but what I normally do is go to ASDA, see what meat is on offer and meal plan from that. I went shopping 2 weeks ago and spent £60 - still got 2 packs of mince left and 2 chicken breasts in the freezer. Better go shopping tomorrow though as we only have 1 toilet roll left and no milk!!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

EA, nice to see you popping back on again,it must have been tough,so sending hugs to you xxxx

Oh bums I forgot what else was gonna say about other peoples posts now!!

Im feeling miserable about putting on weight too..Im 7lbs up now,at nearly 14 weeks..although I was weighed after a largeish meal so maybe a lb less. But it is all going on my stomach..making it even more wobblier and missshaped than it was before!!
Been to a carboot today and picked up some gorgeous little mamas and papas pram shoes for £1, they don't look like they've been worn, still got stckers inside to say what size they are ect..

Is it normal to leak colostrum this early on? The odd occasion Ive looked at my nipples they have been covered in a yellow crust..which I can only imagine is dried colostrum? Never noticed this happening so early in my other pregnancies.
love my little man he is amazing :j
