I prefer drawers. All my children including my baby have a tallish set of drawers. The top can act as a shelf and I find clothes stored in drawers is more sensible use of space and neater than a wardrobe.
We are fairly cramped for storage atm. Our baby has the box room and my 2 girls share a room leaving 1 room for me and DH.
Im not even sure where im putting this next LO lol.
I know I will never move house as I love my neighbours and the area I live in, an extension or loft conversion may be on the cards.0 -
Because I want to reply to everything in your post, I'll just write in red to save me multi-quoting
I was really hairy with Chris but complete opposite with this one - part of the reason I though he was gonna be a girl
I've got a fine downy hair all over my stomach and my hair is growing quicker than it used to. I used to be able to go 12-14 weeks without having highlights done but I went 9 weeks ago and my roots are already about 2cm
. Luckily I've got an appointment for next week as it's starting to look a real mess.
these sound like the "safety buds" that asda do, I use them and think they are fab for ears and nose, bubbas move so fast even if ur being careful with a normal bud they can jolt and end up with one right in there
I'll have a look for those in either Asda or Boots, they do sound good.
I can't stand those aspirator things _pale_ I really don't see the need for them
I was a bit worried about how you "empty" them - I'm pretty sqeamish anyway.
coleif, dentinox, infacol... there are many
just have a look in the baby dept of asda/tesco they're all there with bonjella etc
EDIT - gripe alternatives (hope that works) http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CatalogSearchResultView?Nr=AND%28DIM_BASIC_RECORD_TYPE_ID%3aIS_PURE_PRODUCT%2cDIM_PARENT_PRODUCT_ID%3aIS_PARENT%29&Ntk=All&langId=-1&catalogId=11051&Rpp=10&Ne=4294336391&Ntt=colic&storeId=10052&Ntx=mode%2bmatchall&searchTerm=colic&N=4294336384&pageSize=12
Thanks for that. I hadn't heard of the first two (got lots to learn
) so will have a look in Tesco next time I go.0 -
I have a bean pillow - it's called a snuggle or a snooze or something. It's a cylinder filled with beans, and I wedge it under my belly. I still need something at my back for support, and I just bought a V shaped pillow for that, but the bean one is fantastic and it was about a fiver from The Works.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Thanks Chopsticks and Helen for making me feel sane! I haven't told work yet so it is hard work pretending to feel normal all day. Scan on Friday though so not long until I can tell them and hopefully get a bit of sympathy!
Mrs Moc- I think you are being incredibly brave. It must be so bizarre knowing that you will be in hospital for the next x weeks. At least you know you and bean are in the right place. Maybe you can get OH to bring in some of your Easter meal tomorrow if you're not allowed home?
So pleased to be home from work and off tomorrow. I am absolutely shattered and just want to sit and relax. Fingers crossed for sunshine so I can lounge in the garden.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments.
I dont really want to be coming on and putting people in a downer but I dont my mum and DH knowing how scared I feel sometimes as im sure they are worried enough. Im trying to put a brave face on things.
I know im lucky in that I have my lappy, books dvd's and there is a tv. Plenty to keep me occupied. There are also some really lovely people on the ward as well and I have made some friends. Another girl is in a similar position but seems a lot braver than me.
I feel a bit better now, I think I just had a moment of freaking out. Im really squeamish about blood and things lol.
There is no way I will be allowing that doctor anywhere near me with more needles she was so rough!!
I just about fainted when my MW took my bloods at 16 weeks (first time she'd taken any from me) and I was expecting her to stab me so it must have been horrible for you to be stabbed and not expecting it.
Sometimes people in one of the most caring professions really aren't that caring at all.
Lots of hugs to you, hang in there and try to make the most of your rest (as long as the ladies in labour aren't making too much noise!!)

I agree drawers are really helpfull but I also love to see my little girls pretty dresses all hanging in a line in her wardrobe... I wouldn't bother forking out a fortune on specialist nursery furniture, any drawers or wardrobe will do...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Well things have gone quiet and both women have gone to the delivery suites, the one struggling has decided to have an epidural.
I dont feel brave at all im scared of needles, blood and pain lol. I also miss my kids so much and its only been a few days. Im trying not to think about spending 2/3 months here.
I haven't given up on my dinner tomorrow even though im still bleeding its gone light now. Im hoping the doctor in the morning doesn't bother to read my file from today and lets me go
Well done on ths shopping searching :T I think its so exciting getting things done to the house and seeing it all coming together.
The lights have gone off here, and im starting to feel a little whacked. Its hard to stay sleep after 6.45 am here because you can here people starting to move about and trolleys getting wheeled by so plenty of early mornings in store.
Night Everyone xx0
