One thing I hated about being in hospital were the screamers, moaners and the ones that were offered things for pain or to speed things up and said no, then went on to whinge about it. I was mean and had no sympathy at all! Oh and snorers! Not looking forward to being admitted this time.

    Hope you get some sleep!

I do genuinely feel so sorry for them my last labour was only 16 months ago and is still very fresh in my mind. In a way im sorry I wont be having a natural birth this time, listening and watching is bringing back some powerful memories.

    Evening ladies,

Feeling a bit down tonight. Just had a screaming match with my mother. For about the millionth time she was going on and on about staying at home to look after children and seems to think that I am the only person in the world who is going back to work after having a baby. I don’t know if it will be full time (hopefully just part time), but no matter what I say or do, if it’s not what she did, it’s wrong and I am a bad person. I have been putting up with it for years, but finally have had enough and just blew up and walked out.

Britain’s Got Talent is not cheering me up, and OH is out for the night. Never mind, it’s Easter eggs and chips and dips for me. And you lot to moan to thankfully!

    Rant over.

    (((((Hugs))))) Fitzio

Everyone has the right to decide how to live their lives and you are entitled to make your own decisions without having to be made to feel guilty or under pressure.

Its your life, so dont feel bad for living it!!

PS I think walking out is better than stayng to argue or staying to put up with listening to stuff you dont need too.

Thanks Mrs Moc. I could rant about my mother for hours, but it would bore everyone to tears! It bores me stupid. I just don't know why I have let the behaviour and comments go for so long.

    Anyway, congrats Loopy.

I sleep with one of the long bits straight to my body with bump resting on that with none of the pillow under my body then the other bit between my legs. Try pushing it down a foot or so :) I tried having it more like you describe last night but I couldn't get comfy with my boobs resting on the pillow too!

My OH said the same about the £40 one but we always fall asleep with him curled up behind me so the other little pillow on it would have gotten in the way cos that's where he usually is :o

Thanks Elle, I'll try that tonight and hopefully get on a bit better. We sleep the same as you, so the other pillow would get in the way for us too.

What do people (particularly those who have been there before!) think about nursery furniture? We are using our smallest room for the baby, and we have decided to get a cot bed rather than a cot, but how much other furniture would you need? For baby clothes, would I get more use out of a wardrobe with a couple of larger drawers, or a chest of drawers? We were thinking that to save space, we might get a wardrobe and tall narrow drawers, but haven't seen any we like which aren't too expensive.

So, wardrobe v drawers? What would you choose?

    Hi,

I have a dreamgenii, whilst not exactely money saving its a good buy. Although my partner moans he can't get near me in bed ! It's comfy when you sleep on your left hand side but i'm not so keen on it on the right as you put the long bit through the back of your legs.

    HTH

    Suzanne

Hi Suzanne, thanks for that. If I can't get on with the V pillow I will perhaps go down the route of buying a dreamgenii but will try to persevere a bit longer and see how I get on.

chopsticks - i have the grobag pillow and it's a dream to use, it's filled with little balls/pearls so it's really light but really supportive and it's kind of shaped like a banana and moulds to wherever i need it really easily...
this is the one i have - but i didn't pay that much for it because i bought second hand on ebay :money:

Ooh, that looks good. I hadn't heard of the grobga pillow before, but that looks lovely and comfy, and definitely one to consider. Thank you :)
