Hi all..
Dad's been round and is now armed with his list of garden jobs. Turns out Mum's taking the week off (she doesn't work as such but does lots of voluntary things) too so she's going to come with Dad and strip wallpaper in the hallway
We've also been to a carpet shop and arranged for someone to come round to measure up next week. Been to town to get house keys cut (so Dad's got a set) and picked up a big bag of toffee from Thorntons - yummy!
Called in at Wickes to check the takeaway bathroom we want really is available for collection next week and it is
I was getting ratty towards the end so OH has dumped me on the sofa to have a nap before going out tonight. Really I'm sat here with my toffee and five episodes of Come Dine With Me to keep me entertained

labour vibes for you AM. Your bean needs a good talking to - either he wants to be a bank holiday baby or not. Tell him its make his mind up time!
Mrs Moc - I have never been admitted to hospital, so cant imagine how poo it must be. On the plus side, I do like that alcohol hand stuff though and I would be using it all day long!! Keep smiling, your'e a proper little mother hen now sitting on your egg until its time to hatch.
Tesco man just delivered my shopping and wished me luck with the baby. The AA man did the same on Thursday. I suddenly feel really pregnant! I just said to hubby how glad I am that they dont just think i'm fat.
Hubby has now stolen my birthing ball to use as a handy foot rest for himself. He also kicked it yesterday like a football and it brought down the whole contents of a shelf off the book case and most of the stuff on the table it landed on. He has also taken to bouncing it like a basketball. How can I be having a baby when my hubby can be so childish!!!! I have to say it does relieve my lower back and pelvis pain when i'm on it, if I ever get a look in between OH's bouncing, kicking and foot resting.Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -
Sun's disappeared now thanks to next doors garage! I'm the conservatory now just catching up.
OH home now - I got indian for tea, i always seem to do this when it's hot!!
I want to watch a film later - will have to see what we've got that I fancy.
Mookie - I have that rub in my handbag as well as down the corridors in work. Only problem is it makes your hands really dry.
Do you need a specific birthing ball? My OH has a Reebok Swiss Ball that I was thinking of pinching.
Did anyone watch Apprentice the other night? It is a Swiss ball and not a Swedish ball isn't it??A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
Glam, mine is just a gym ball. You should just make sure that they are anti-burst or something as if it gets a puncture it will then go down slowly. If the ball were to pop whilst you were on it, apart from really hurting your bum, it would probably bring on labour from the shock!!!
Think its a swiss ball!Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -
On for 15 minutes as we're off to DD's 21st in a bit, just gonna try to catch up. Hope everyones ok. XToo many children, too little time!!!

Still here, still in pain, lost track of the contraction timer as i had to lie down and DS went on the comp.
OH's mate has just come round so he's gone up the shop for me to get me a chinese, I've only just realised i've not eaten a thing today except popcorn at the cinema, probably wont eat the chinese beef curry and rice but ho hum.
I just been to the toilet and had a big load more of my show but am still not 100% convinced, tightenings are up to 10 mins apart anyway, and If i go into labour i'm going to try a VBAC so there is no rush.
Oh god I really hope this is the start of it! xx:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
Fingers crossed AM and huge labour vibes
In my last labour small pains were 15 mins apart to start with and he was born within 12 hours of those starting so good luck!!
Enjoy the party Tara oh but to be 21 again lol.
I always thought it was a swiss ball too??0
