Group b Strep you get a free blood test in ur booking in blood but that only catches a small amount of carriers but is much cheaper
Its very dangerous if you have it but you have to pay £32 to have the test done privately - info here http://www.gbss.org.uk/section.php?section_id=3&section=what_is_gbs

Oh I think I'd be too late if I wanted to test anyway ~ I'll be 38 weeks on Saturday.

Hypno - big hugs hon that's awful. Poor you. I have nothing to suggest but am sending you positive thoughts.

I'm off to read the parent thread (I will do my best not to comment cos I'm a radical Bf advocate and I will only stoke the flames!).

ooh its soooo quiet in here tonight!!
I'm going off to bed now - well I best go and make my bed first :p Chris kindly emptied a load of moisturiser IN my bed this morning and my duvet is a cheapo one that has gone ming so I bought a new one today.. any idea for uses for an old duvet that isn't in a proper cotton cover (its that rubbish stuff that slings are made out of - the type you get on the nhs when u've hurt ur arm and its turned to something that looks like fake spider webs)

no matter how strongly you feel please don't post coz I think we've finally got off the topic and Tine will have a heart attack/ go into early labour if it starts up again:p

Nighty night all, hopefully we'll feel better 2mo xx

PS. I do think that most people (myself included) just took the easy way out, if it had been years ago when formula wasn't freely available and widely accepted I'm sure I would have persevered with BFing and been successful
