    That pram is gorgeous!!

So are travel systems generally a lower quality then?? I'm confused, as I always thought they were more economical (kinda a 3-for-1 deal)...

No no lol thats not what i meant! I meant for me the cheaper travel systems didnt last very long due to quailty...There are plenty of brilliant travel systems about. I love em....can make life so much simpler on those hectic days.

Might depend on the taxi company whether they can do a car seat or not  I've never known one to do this, but to be fair not sure I've ever asked the question before either. Would an airport locker be big enough to store a car seat? They are quite bulky things.

I've had a busy day today. Decided to do something about the poor eating habits I've been getting into, because usually too knackered to cook by the evening time, so did a big grocery shop, and now have 22 meals ready assembled and packed into the freezer. Lots of duplicates though, so that doesn't mean I can rest on my laurels for the next 22 days unless I don't mind eating nothing but chicken! I'm going to try and cook at least 3 days next week (during the day if I can before I get too tired) and make triple or 4x portions then too, so I'll have lots on standby, and lots of variety too. I'm hoping that if I put in some effort over the next few weeks, then maybe I'll only need to cook a couple of nights a week to keep on top of things which would be a godsend. The OS'ers would be proud of me, though I haven't been over there much since I discovered this thread, as it takes so much time just to keep up with everyone's news :rotfl:

I learned to squeeze by mine in the hall as I don't have anywhere else. Oh sorry, actually I kept it in the boot of my car for the past 2 years. An estate so boot large enough to store it and the shopping.

Just remember to use some anti mould packs or something when storing it and it will be fine.

MM, go ebay :T I've ran out of stuff to sell now though :(

For my dinner I stole baby potatoes, wee snack sausages, salad and some of my oh so scrummy italian dressing/marinade. mmmmmmmmmmmmm

Was it a normal taxi company you used? Or something special? I'd like to get it sorted in advance really so it's one less thing to worry about after the birth.
It was a company that was actually recommended to us from the travel agent as someone that specialised in airport transfers rather than a regular taxi company...

    Hi everyone!

New to this but had to tell someone! Me and OH decided to start trying for first baby last month thinking it would take maybe 6 months before we were successful. Came off pill about 6 weeks ago and now just found out i'm about 4 weeks pregnant!!
Was a bit of a shock so soon but over the moon. :rotfl: Made the decision beforehand that we weren't gonna tell anyone until 12 weeks, including the parents, so thought i'd post it on here so i don't explode!
Any hints & tips would be really appreciated. Still not really sunk in.
